Italian giants AC Milan are preparing a big to take Kaka back to the San Siro after Silvio Berlusconi said he wanted the Brazilian to return.

The playmaker signed for Real Madrid for 67 million euros in 2009 from Milan, but has largely failed to live up to expectations.

This season he played 27 games in total, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

According to Corriere dello Sport, 76-year-old Berlusconi made it clear Kaka was high up on his wish list when in a meeting discussing the future of manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Kaka recently admitted he may seek a new challenge after four years in the Spanish capital and he is keen to play regularly in the year building up to the World Cup in his home country.
