Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo extended their scoring run as they lead their national teams in their respective international friendlies victories.

Ronaldo became Portugal’s all-time top scorer thanks to his brace against Cameroon. CR7 reached the 47-goal mark, overtaking Pedro Pauleta and starring in his team’s 5-1 win. Fabio Coentrao also scored, and Pepe didn’t play due to a fever.

Bale also netted one in Wales 3-1 victory over Iceland, puting in a great performance in 70 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Benzema scored a superb goal to contribute to France’s 2-0 win over Holland. The striker was replaced after 80 minutes, while Raphael Varane played the whole game.

Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos started in Spain’s friendly against Italy at the Vicente Calderon. The keeper was replaced by Victor Valdes at half-time. Xabi Alonso also came in for the second-half to help the Spaniards beat the Azzurri with a goal from Pedro.

Angel di Maria played 89 minutes for Argentina, having a good performance despite his team being unable to defeat Romania. Leo Messi’s team brought home a poor 0-0 draw from Bucarest.

Luka Modric came in as a substitute for Croatia to play the last 35 minutes against Switzerland, when the game was tied 2-2. However, he couldn’t help his team score a winning goal and the scoreboard didn’t change.

Brazil put in a superb performance in South Africa, embarrasing the hosts with a 0-5 victory in a tribute match to Nelson Mandela. Real Madrid’s left-back was replaced in the 58th minute. Barcelona’s winger Neymar lead the Canarinha with a hat-trick.
