Carlo Ancelotti has claimed he doesn’t understand people who whistle Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid manager spoke at a press conference ahead of the crucial game against Sevilla.

“I don’t understand it. Cristiano has scored so many goals because he has that character, because he’s never happy with himself and always wants to improve,” the Italian explained.

Ancelotti confirmed Gareth Bale is recovered from his injury but Karim Benzema isn’t: “He has trained with the team and I think he will be available for Sevilla. Karim is working alone and we’ll see if Sunday or Monday he can join the team.”

Asked whether Sergio Ramos will play in midfield again like he did against Atletico Madrid: “It’s an option, he did well against Atletico, but we have many choices like displaying Isco in the centre.”

Speaking of the rival, Ancelotti seemed confident of winning: “We’ve played against Sevilla twice this season and we have won. It is true last year we suffered, but we have to learn from the good things and the bad.”

“We have to do our best. Sevilla are complicated, they are very strong at home, where they have a great run. We need to be the best Real Madrid possible,” Ancelotti added.
