Real Madrid wanted to thank Jesé “this years of dedication and professionalism from the young team to the first team and wishes luck in his new stage”, said the club in a statement.

Some hours later, Jesé appeared in a press conference in Paris and he wanted to have a few words for his former club: “After 10 years at Real Madrid I needed a change and play for a club where I could develope as a player. Here I’ll have more minutes and opportunities to show my skills”.

Jesé also spoke about his former coach and said that Zidane told him it will be very difficult to play because there were a lot of competitors. “I wish the best [to Real Madrid] but not in Europe, where I want to win all the games with my new team”.

PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaif wanted to great Jesé in his first day of work in his new team. “In the last season, Jesé has been one of the most promising players at Real Madrid and in the Spanish football. After having contact with some great forwards, he became a very strong option for PSG”, the president said.
Jesé left the club after a difficult season where he didn’t meet Zidane’s expectation. In the memory of the supporters, he left a very important goal scored in Rome in the Last 16 first leg.
