Madrid sports newspaper As claims today that the deal to bring Gareth Bale to Santiago Bernabeu “is closed” and that “Gareth Bale has already told Villas-Boas he’s leaving”.

“Deal closed” is As headline in their front page. “Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement for 120 million euros”, they publish.

“Daniel Levy has asked Real not to announce it until they have made three new signings”, the Madrid daily states.

As reports that Spurs will use that money to sign Valencia’s striker Roberto Soldado and “they will also pursue Luis Suarez’s transfer”.

Marca mentions that Bale trained yesterday with Tottenham for the first time this summer “with his mind thinking in Real Madrid”.

Spain’s most sold newspaper main story is titled “Sargeant Carlo”. Marca claims the Italian is showing he is not the weak manager many people expected. “The training sessions reach the level of demand of the Navy”, they claim.
