The current season for Manchester City supporters is being very disappointed. The year started really well with a great run in the Premier League but the team was getting worse and now even the Champions League position is at risk. Pep Guardiola is living one of the worse moments as a coach, very criticized for the journalists and the supporters. The manager is already looking for solutions to improve the squad and he has put his eye on Real Madrid.

More specifically, Pep Guardiola is targeting Keylor Navas. The Catalan coach is not happy with Claudio Bravo’s performances, who conceded four goals in the last game against Everton. The Chilean goalkeeper has been heavily criticized since the beginning of the season, when he committed a big mistake at Camp Nou, where he was sent off.

Part of the journalist and the supporters in Manchester didn’t understand why Guardiola sent Joe Hart to the bench -finally he signed for Torino- so the club had to spend a big amount of money to get Claudio Bravo out of Barcelona. The goalkeeper is not at his best, so the club is working to find in the market a new goalkeeper.

And according to the Spanish newspaper OKDiario, this player would be Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican goalkeeper shone last year with Real Madrid, becoming one of the best players of the squad. However, this year he has found some controversy, especially after the game against Sevilla, so Los Blancos are already thinking in the possibility of signing a new goalkeeper.

Actually, there are rumours affirming that Florentino Pérez club is speaking with Thibaut Courtois, the Chelsea goalkeeper, who will be very happy to go back to Madrid, where his family lives. If Los Blancos finally decide to sign the Belgian keeper, Navas would have to leave and Manchester City could be his destiny. At the moment, Zinedine Zidane spoke very clear about the goalkeeper issue: “I’m happy with Keylor Navas”.
