Man of the moment Javier Hernandez has said he is loving his time at the club and is happy to be scoring for the best team in the world.

The Mexican grabbed a brace on Sunday as Los Blancos saw off Celta Vigo to keep the pressure on league leaders Barcelona. It was Chicharito’s third goal in two games, having netted the last gasp winner against Atletico de Madrid last week to send his team through to the Champions League semi-finals.

Much has been written about the player’s long-term future at the club though. The striker, on loan from Manchester United, is thought to be heading back to the Premier League after this campaign with the Real directors having decided against his permanent signing despite his current purple patch.

The forward said after the game: “I feel good and am enjoying the moment. I am a Real Madrid player. I’m not sure if that will be for a long or short time so I want to make the most of the minutes I’m given with the best team in the world.”

And he added: “I am enjoying doing what I love most, which is playing and I want to give it my all on the pitch. I’ve been taught that you can control having a good attitude and being determined. Everyone I love would tell me to continue working because all the good things would eventually transpire.”
