Madrid sports newspapers put their focus today on Cristiano Ronaldo’s tears as he was awarded the Ballon d’Or 2013.

“Ronaldo touches everyone with his emotional reaction when winning his second Ballon d’Or,” Marca emphasizes.
Marca highlights one of Ronaldo’s statements in his speech: “I want to write an unwritten page in the history of football,” he said.
As also puts its focus on the Portuguese’s words: “Thanks to all my Real Madrid and Portugal team mates, and to my family.”
