Cristiano Ronaldo drew level with Raul Gonzalez as the joint-top scorer in Real Madrid’s history thanks to a brace against Malmoe that gave Los Blancos a 0-2 win. The visitors had plenty of chances, but they couldn’t seal the victory until the last minute.

Right before the break, Carvajal came close to increasing the lead as he latched onto a loose header inside the box and fired a superb volley that came crashing back off the woodwork.
In the second half, Real exerted a higher pressure seeking to score a second goal. Kovacic send a low effort wide of the post and Benzema’s shot deflected off a defender and went out.
Malmoe were down to ten men as Yotun was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Lucas Vazquez and was sent off by the referee.
Ronaldo took advantage of it and sealed the victory right before stoppage time easily slotting in a cross from Casemiro.
