Bad news for Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane is going to pick up a very young and new starting eleven for the first big game of the season due to the long list of injuries. Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale will also miss the European Supercup clash against Sevilla on Tuesday (19.45 UK time).

Zinedine Zidane’s list has been released on Monday morning before the squad took a plane to Norway to play this big game. The big surprise was that both Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale will miss the game. At least, the French coach has included Karim Benzema in the list despite of the French striker hasn’t played one game in the pre-season tour.

The Real Madrid manager is going to have a lot of problems to create a starting eleven because a lot of players are not available for the game. Apart from Kroos and Bale, Keylor Navas, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe or Fabio Coentrao won’t be in Norway on Tuesday.

This year, the European Supercup is held very early in the calendar and the players haven’t had the time to rest after a busy season with the final of the Champions League and the Euro in France.

Real Madrid played only three games in the pre-season tour in the United States to prepare the game and the squad arrived on Thursday to Madrid to prepare this big clash. The club is optimistic after these games, where Real Madrid beat Chelsea and Bayern Munich and lost against PSG.

With all these players ruled out, Luca Zidane and Mariano have been included in the list to travel to Trondheim, in Norway.

The full squad for the game is:

Goalkeepers: Casilla, Yáñez and Luca;
Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Danilo and Marcelo
Midfielder: James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Isco, Asensio, M. Llorente;
Strikers: Benzema, Lucas Vázquez, Morata and Mariano.
