Experiments are over and the real game starts now. La Liga starts for Real Madrid on Saturday against Celta de Vigo and Zinedine Zidane spoke for the first time this season in press conference ahead of the trip to Balaídos about the current transfer market and his squad for the season. And after listening his answers, the French coach seems very happy with the transfer market.

Zinedine Zidane has started to be convinced about the players he has available for the season, so it’s time to use them because the alternatives are over. It was pretty clear that Zidane didn’t want Bale and James Rodríguez at Real Madrid, but Pogba was his first option. However, the market works in a different way, and now it’s time to get the most out of them.

For this reason, Zidane was asked about James Rodríguez and his answer gives hope to the playmaker, one of the footballers beloved for the Real Madrid supporters: “He is fit and I’m happy with him being in the squad with us”, Zidane said. Will James travel to Vigo with the team? We’ll know in the next hours.

Same situation lives Gareth Bale. The manager has to start thinking about how to get the best out of him: “It looks like he was leaving and he is here. I’m going to count on him, like with everybody else. I hope everybody here will try to put the things difficult for me”.

Asked about the transfer market, Zidane explained that he can work with the squad available: “I’m happy with my players and focus, like them, in the first game. I have the best ones, I don’t have any doubt”.

Besides, Zidane confirmed that the team is looking forward to playing the first game after the disappointments of the summer: “We want this to start now. We think about starting La Liga. We’re happy”.
