Zinedine Zidane spoke before the match Real Madrid will play against Málaga at Santiago Bernabéu. Los Blancos have lost the last two games and it is a good chance to recover the confidence. The French manager talked about the two defeats against Sevilla and Celta de Vigo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Danilo’s performance and other different topics.

The French manager started the press conference talking about the last two defeats after not losing any match in 40 games: “We need to concentrate a bit more. I am not worried. The players are not worried either,  we are not playing badly. The good thing is that we will play against Málaga only three days after the last defeat. We are not going to change the way we play“, Zidane said after the last two games.

Cristiano Ronaldo has come under a lot of scrutiny after Wednesday match where he played as a striker and not in the left wing: “Cristiano Ronaldo will always  have to deal with criticism, when he don’t score, when he plays in a different position…He is used to that, he is focused in the next match. Cristiano is a very important player for us. Sometimes he can play worse, it happened to me in the past. The important thing is to keep working. Last game he was the striker with Benzema because we thought that with Asensio in the wing, he will have more chances”, the French manager affirmed

Danilo did not play a good match against Celta de Vigo and many people said that he cannot play at Real Madrid:”Danilo’s situation is unfair. I read many bad things about him this week. He is a professional and a good player. He can improve, but as everyone else”, Zidane defended Danilo.

Morata could reappear in the line up against Málaga after being on the bench in the last game against Celta de Vigo:” He is training really good. I did not include him in the last lineup because I chose another player. We’ll see tomorrow how we are going to play”, Zidane said about Morata.
