Zinedine Zidane is optimistic about this team’s odds to win La Liga. Real Madrid have won 11 games in a row and they’re just one point behind Barcelona. If the Blaugranas lose or draw at Granada and Real Madrid beat Deportivo, Los Blancos will be the La Liga champions.
However, Zidane is not concerned about what could happen at Los Carmenes: “We are going to give our best performance and try to win the game, we can’t control matters elsewhere”.
He doesn’t want to speak about the Champions League final because “the most important game of our lives is Saturday’s, we have to win to get all three points”, he said in the press conference.
Although Real Madrid is not the favourite to hold the title, the squad still think they could win: “We believe that the league title is still possible, we have won 11 matches in a row, we are one point behind Barcelona”.
