Marca claims in its front page that Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez have agreed that the Frenchman will become Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant, after Real Madrid legend resigned to be the sports director.

“Zidane will give lessons”, the most sold Spanish newspaper claims.

The Madrid daily also states that Real have put the brake on Gonzalo Higuain’s exit. “His situation will not change until the arrival of the new manager”, they say.

The other main Madrid sports newspaper, As, brings to its front page the good performance of Iker Casillas with Spanish national team. “Mourinho couldn’t destroy Casillas”, they title. “The keeper’s two saves in New York certify he is still the best”, they claim.

As also highlights Florentino Perez’s words about the future of Zidane: “He can have the same role that Karanka had with Mourinho”.

The Madrid paper also emphasizes the 3-0 victory of the Spanish under-21 national team over The Netherlands in which Real Madrid’s youngter Alvaro Morata scored again.
