Real Madrid players Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez have been included in UEFA’s Best XI of La Liga in the 2014-2015 season. The Portuguese and they Colombian have been the best players of the Madrid club this season, and their effort has been rewarded.

UEFA has picked Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo as the best goalkeeper. The defenders included in the team were Barcelona’s Gerad Pique and Daniel Alves and Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi and Jose Luis Gaya.

In midfield, James Rodriguez has shared this honour with Sevilla’s Grzegorz Krychowiak and former Los Blancos footballer Daniel Parejo, now at Valencia. Ronaldo, Leo Messi and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann have been picked as the best forwards of the season.

This is not the last recognition Ronaldo will receive this year. The Portuguese scored a total 61 goals in the season, becoming La Liga’s top scorer with 48 goals in the league. He has been the clear winner of the Golden Shoe, which he will receive next season.

James Rodriguez has also shined in his first season as a Los Merengues player. The Colombia international has provided 18 assists and scored 17 goals, becoming a crucial piece for Carlo Ancelotti. In fact, the team had serious trouble while he was injured.
