Jose Mourinho signing for Chelsea

Real Madrid man Cristiano Ronaldo says he is not surprised by Jose Mourinho’s situation at Chelsea as the Blues struggle for form in the Premier League.

The ex-Los Blancos manager, who loves to remind everyone how special he is, has seen his team lose six of their opening 11 matches in the league this season. They lie in 15th place in the table and a realistic attempt to retain the title the won last May already looks in tatters.

Moreover, media reports suggest the Portuguese boss has lost the dressing room with stories of mutiny among senior figures.

Speaking to the BBC, Ronaldo said nothing is surprising in football. But he backed his former boss to get his side back on track again.

“I’m not surprised because anything can happen in football. Of course, he’s a manager I was working with for two years and I know his potential. I know that not just him but Chelsea are in a tough situation,” he said.

And he continued: “As a Portuguese man, I want to see the Portuguese at the top level all the time. So this is what I wish for him that he can go through this bad situation and make Chelsea fans happy because they deserve it.”

  1. stop being a hater…. real Madrid is a very respected club. you pundit or writers like tarnish another man’s image. a good speech from a mature footballer. maybe in your work you are not special and just a number.

  2. Comment: no fear for chelsea, i hop my manager, i m a great with ronaldo chelsea he backed very soon.mourinho he is big manager, he is incomparable manager.

  3. What a disgusting headline.

I understand sensationalism, that you need to grab readers with your headlines, but this is just plain misleading.

Ronaldo is wishing his ex manager all the best. you make it seem as though Ronaldo is hating on the man.
