Surprisingly, Liverpool are top of the table at this stage of the season after the bad results obtained by Manchester City in the last games. Jurgen Klopp’s side is challenging the odds and they have won six games in a row now, including a stunning 6-1 against Watford.

One of the stars of Liverpool is Phillipe Coutinho. The Brazilian player is finally giving his best at Anfield with Klopp on the bench and many other teams put the spot on him. Former Inter Milán and Espanyol player has an enormous talent but he hasn’t played so good for long time in his career. Now he’s having continuity and he’s one of the key pieces in Klopp’s formation.

Some big clubs were already following the Brazilian but now the interest is bigger. According to the English newspaper Liverpool Echo, Real Madrid and Barcelona are fighting again to get a good position to sign Phillipe Coutinho in the future.

Both giants teams have already good midfielders in the squad but Coutinho could give something else and he’s still a project for the future. Coutinho is only 24 years old but he has the experience to guide a big team like Liverpool to fight for the first positions in the Premier League.

Coutinho has already scored 5 goals this season in only 11 games, the same amount of goals scored in the whole season in the 2013/14 and 14/15. Last year, the Brazilian wrote 8 times his name in the scoresheet. This is his fifth season in Anfield and the best one so far for the talented midfielder. He arrived in 2012 from Inter Milán after paying a transfer fee of €10M. Before he played really well on loan for Espanyol. Inter signed him from Vasco da Gama in 2010 for €3.8M.
