Spain’s most sold newspaper, Marca, claims today that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti asked his players for patience in a private meeting. “Be patient, this will go well”, the Italian reportedly told the team.
“Real Madrid captains asked their team-mates for commitment during the meeting”, Marca states. “They forced Pepe to apologize to Benzema for his reproaches during the derby”, they add.
Meanwhile, the other main Madrid sports newspaper, As, titles in its front page “Ancelotti is weak”. PRISA’s daily claims the players forced the manager to have that meeting and Florentino Perez brought him to a dinner with the general director in order to clear things up.
