Real Madrid have many good players in their squad but as every huge side, there are players who can leave the club when the season ends in order to increase the competition and to win money that will later allow to sign, Real Madrid must decide what players do they have to sell and which it declare non-tranferible. The sales after all are necessary either to leave places free in the squad or to be able to spend money later in another player from other team. These are the players who can leave Real Madrid on June:

Keylor Navas: This is not the best season of Keylor Navas since his arrival, despite he has improved and that he is appearing in the decisive stage of the season. We must add that it looks like De Gea is very close from Real Madrid, and if finally the Spanish goalkeeper sings with Real Madrid, Keylor will must search another side.

Kiko Casilla: It’s a different case than Keylor Navas although they have both similar purpose. The Catalan goalkeeper has played really good when Zidane has needed him, and this is precisely why Real Madrid could take advantage of his good performances and win several millions with his departure.

Danilo: The Brazilian right back is not being the player that Real Madrid expected. At 25 years, the former Porto is having several mistakes this season as the one he idid last Wednesday against Atlético. Considering that he signed for Real Madrid for an amount of €30M, Los Blancos can listen offers from other clubs and recover part of what they have invested.

Fabio Coentrao: Nowadays he is the worst player of the squad and the Portuguese left back has some offers from a couple of teams from Portugal, so it looks like this will be his last season with Real Madrid’s shirt.

James Rodríguez: The Colombian is a great player, but neither he is happy at Madrid nor Real Madrid seem to trust him. Several important clubs are willing to sign James and it looks like Los Blancos will have a lot of huge offers to choose when the season ends.

Lucas Vázquez: The Galician winger is not playing as well as in the beginning of the season and nowadays in Real Madrid there are many players who can play in his position.  He is not doing a bad season but substitutes as Morata, Isco, James and Asensio are being more protagonists than Lucas. Real Madrid can receive at least €20M from him.

Pepe: The Portuguese full back can be playing his last season with Los Blancos. His contract finishes at the end of the season and he wants to renew with two years more but Florentino Pérez only offers him one. Pepe is receiving many offers from China and other important European teams and he must take a decision when the current season ends.

Gareth Bale: The Welsh player is having a vey tough season because of his injuries and he is not having the importance in the team as expected. Many important European teams, especially from Premier League, are willing to sign him for a similar amount than the one Real Madrid payed to Tottenham. Do you think Real Madrid should sell Gareth Bale and try  to sign an emerging star like Mbapp’e or Dybala?

Gareth Bale in not having his best season since his arrival to Real Madrid and many important clubs want to take advantage of this situation. According to The Independent, Manchester United are negotiating with Real Madrid Gareth Bale’s transfer for next year. The Red Devils have already tried to sign him many times during the last seasons but now he is closer than ever.

Manchester United interest has been evident for many years, and despite Los Blancos rejected a huge offer from the Red Devils last summer, now Florentino Pérez will be open to negotiate Bale’s transfer. Meanwhile, the player will not see with bad eyes the possibility of returning to the Premier League, despite he feels comfortable playing for Real Madrid.

There are many doubts in the future of Gareth Bale and after arriving Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in the 2013 summer for an amount of €100M, the Welshman is not living an easy moment at the capital of Spain. Frequently accompanied by various physical problems throughout the course, adding only 1924 minutes played so far in 26 games.

These physical problems and the lack of continuity have ended up being reflected in statistics that are far below from what was expected. Gareth Bale has only scored nine goals so far and he has given five assists. These are very poor numbers if we talk of one of the best players in the world who plays in a huge team as Real Madrid.

With Bale’s absence, Zinedine Zidane has changed the formation from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2. With this new formation Real Madrid have played their best games during all the season introducing Isco or James in the line up. Now Los Blancos must decide if Gareth Bale should leave Madrid at the end of the season or if the Welshman must be Cristiano’s substitute in a few years.

Keylor Navas had a great performance last Wednesday in the victory against Atlético Madrid and with his incredibles saves he helped Real Madrid to go through another final of Champions League.

In this decisive stage of the year, the Costa Rican keeper has improved a lot, after having a difficult season where all the medias and journalists wanted him out of Madrid. Now he is again a very important player in the squad and if he continues in this level it will be difficult to see Keylor Navas in another team next season.

He played a really good game at Vicente Calderón making 5 saves and being one of the key players that gave the ticket to Cardiff’s final. Keylor Navas showed that he has recovered his speed and reflexes and now he is in his best moment of the season. Despite the two goal conceded on Wednesday, Keylor Navas has played a vey complete tie, proving that he can arrive to the level he showed last season.

Everything becomes more important when we say that the Costa Rican keeper is showing his best version in the decisive stage of the season, where Real Madrid can win two titles, La Liga and Champions League. During all the season every time Keylor Navas had a mistake, the names of De Gea and Courtois appeared, but after shining at Vicente Calderón Keylor Navas spoke to the medias affirming that he wants to continue at Real Madrid: “I want to be here many years.I this type of clashes is where you must prove you can play at Real Madrid and today I showed it”, Keylor Navas said.

Although he has currently a lot of confidence in himself, Keylor did not hide that he has not played his better season (receiving 16 goals in 11 Champions League matches):”This season was not easy. I had a very long injury so I didn’t have preseason”, Keylor Navas affirmed. Now Real Madrid must decide if they must sell Keylor Navas with the target of signing De Gea or if the Costa Rican must continue between the sticks of Santiago Bernabéu for many years. Would you sell him?

Danilo-Real Madrid-GI

Surprisingly, Zinedine Zidane chose Danilo to replace Carvajal in the right back. When the Spanish defender got injured in the first leg at Santiago Bernabéu, Nacho was the chosen one to play in the second half and he did it great. Besides, Nacho was the defender with more minutes during the month of April, when Real Madrid played against Barcelona, Atlético or Bayern Munich. He shone in every single game.

However, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals against Atlético Madrid, Zinedine Zidane put Danilo in the line-up. It wasn’t the selection expected but Danilo was playing in La Liga correctly in the games against Sporting, Deportivo or Granada. But again the Brazilian player performance was very disappointing, giving many chances to Atlético Madrid.

In the 3rd minute, Danilo was already booked. He made a poor control and hit Filipe Luis. Yellow card. Simeone knew that the hole was in the right side of the defence, so Filipe Luis tried to attack from there and Atlético Madrid created a lot of problems from this wing. Another example of his poor performance arrived in the second half, when another poor control put Carrasco in front of Keylor Navas but the Costa Rican goalkeeper saved twice, after the shots of the Belgian striker and the header from Gameiro.

Zidane wants to have all the players available and ready to play, but some of them have shown during the season that they don’t have the level to play important games. Danilo is one of them. His quality is fine to play against Leganés or Deportivo, but he shouldn’t be able to start a Champions League semi-finals clash. Especially, when Nacho is on the bench, perhaps one of the best defenders in Europe this season.

Nacho has shown his quality as a left back, right back and centre back. With Varane fully recovered and Pepe also ready to be included in the list, Nacho should be move to the right back position and cover Carvajal absence.

Real Madrid paid €30M to Porto for Danilo two seasons ago and, since then, he hasn’t been able to play good two games in a row. Danilo has played 14 games this season in La Liga, whereas the last year he was in the pitch 24 games. He’s had many opportunities, but was Vicente Calderón his last chance?

Zinedine Zidane arrived to the Real Madrid bench on January 2016 to replace Rafael Benítez, who was sacked after drawing against Valencia. In only one year and a half, he has achieved to put his team in two European finals. He is still facing heavy criticism but the titles speak by themselves.

Real Madrid will play back to back Champions League finals 57 years later when they travel to Cardiff on the 3rd of June to face Juventus. The goal is defend the title conquered at San Siro, when no one has won the title twice in a row since the Champions League was established, back in 1992.

This is the triumph of a great squad, as Zidane said in press conference after getting the ticket at Vicente Calderón stadium, but we should give all the credit to the coach, Zinedine Zidane. The manager arrived to the role with no experience with a top-flight club, and he’s able to lead a group of stars to win titles.

Besides, the group is happy and they are all working in the same direction. Zidane is able to change the players completely in La Liga and in the Champions League with success. James Rodríguez, Asensio or Morata shine in La Liga, whereas Cristiano Ronaldo, Modric or Marcelo highlight in Europe.

Zidane has also been able to speak with Cristiano Ronaldo and convince the Portuguese star that he’s not able to play 40 games in a season. The striker is resting in La Liga and his performances are improving in the key games, as he’s shown in the Champions League knock-out stage. The same patience he had with Karim Benzema, who showed yesterday his skills to create the chance that ended up in Isco’s goal.

Real Madrid is not a club of coaches, but of players. However, in Real Madrid history, these profile of managers were the most successful. Miguel Muñoz, Vicente del Bosque, Carlo Ancelotti and now Zinedine Zidane have similar skills. And all of them were able to lift the Champions League trophy. Real Madrid’s competition.

Karim Benzema and Isco Alardón were the two players named in the press conference several times. Zinedine Zidane was very happy after reaching the final of the Champions League again. Real Madrid will play back to back finals 57 years later.

“We are very happy to arrive again to the final. The credit is for all, especially the players. It’s deserved. Now we are in the final and we are going to have time to prepare it but we are happy for what we’ve done”, Zidane commented after knocking Atlético Madrid out.

It wasn’t an easy game, conceding two goals in the first 15 minutes: “We had difficulties at the start of the game, 20-25 minutes, but we shouldn’t worry because we were going to create chances. In the second half we played better, with Isco and Karim between the lines”.

Karim Benzema was the key player thanks to the amazing play where he dribble three players: “I don’t know how Karim went out from there. Football is not only goal, he scores goals but also has these things. I’m happy for his performance, he missed the goal because he had chances. I didn’t expect that, we were talking after the game and I asked him how he went out and he didn’t know either. It will always be like that, he will always have to do something special for people to say he is a great player but we know it and also the supporters know his importance in this team”.

Another important player was Isco Alarcón, apart from the goal: “He’s been very important in our formation today, at the end of the first half we were more accurate. Isco gave us a lot. In his position, Isco bothered the rival”.

Now Real Madrid will face Juventus at Cardiff, Zidane’s former team: “It’s something special because it’s a very important club for me as a player. Now I’m with Real Madrid, the club of my life, so it will be a beautiful final. We have to play, they’ve arrived and we know that the path is tough and they deserve to play that final. Arriving to back to back finals it’s everybody’s job. It’s been amazing. This is not over, we have three more games in La Liga and then we have to think about the final”.

The French manager was asked about the great start from Atlético Madrid: “I expected that. They got a lot from the second plays, they scored from a corner kick, we were less focused, but we knew that with calm and patience we were going to find Isco between the lines. He hurted the rival”.

Finally, Zidane summarize his job at Real Madrid: “I’m happy, it means that I’m doing a great job, but having this squad and the credit is for everyone, especially the squad. We can be happy but we haven’t won anything”.

Real Madrid booked the ticket to Cardiff tonight at Vicente Calderón despite losing (2-1) with Atlético Madrid. Despite the terrible 15 first minutes when Los Blancos conceded two goals, Isco showed up to score the decisive goal. Zidane’s side is only one step away to touch the European glory again. This is no luck. This is a great team.

Zinedine Zidane included Danilo in the line-up as a right back, so Nacho stayed on the bench. Isco was Bale’s replacement as it was expected and Simeone put a very offensive line-up on the pitch. They needed a lot of goals. And as it was expected, Atlético started the game looking for Keylor’s goal. In the 3rd minute, Danilo was already booked and, the next minute, Koke had the first chance but Navas saved it.

Real Madrid also tried to attacked and Casemiro had the first chance with a header, but he found Oblak again. However, Los Blancos were very nervous and Atlético scored in the 12th minute with a corner kick headed by Saúl. It was time to suffer. And Real Madrid were completely lost. The second goal arrived in the 15th minute, with Griezmann scoring from the penalty spot. Varane committed a clumsy penalty.

In the next 15 minutes nothing happened. Atlético Madrid went back and defend, whereas Los Blancos had the ball but without creating any chances. The script was written by Simeone. From there Atlético didn’t arrive to the goal and Real Madrid started to control the ball, especially leaded by Isco and Modric. In the 42nd minute, Benzema controlled the ball close to the corner, dribbled three players and assist to Kroos. The German tapped the ball in but Oblak saved it. This time the ball went to Isco, who scored. Cardiff was closer and Karim put his magic touch for it. Los Blancos were saved before the half time.

Atlético Madrid were shocked with the goal and they couldn’t react in the second half. Actually, Real Madrid had the ball, again with Isco and Modric with a superb performance. The game could change in the 66th minute. Another mistake committed by Danilo, who shouldn’t play these kind of games, ended up in a double chance to Atlético, but Keylor Navas made two great saves.

It was the worst moment for Real Madrid in a quite second half. Actually, Real Madrid deserved to draw the match and they could do it in a couple of chances missed by Benzema. Correa came in to shake a bit the game and he created a very clear chance, but again Sergio Ramos was in place. Also, we should highlight the great performance of Keylor Navas, very criticized this season.

Suffering, as Zidane predicted before the game, but Real Madrid are in the final of the Champions League for the third time in four years. No one has won back to back titles in the Champions League and Zidane’s side is very close. We can still dream with another title.

Manchester United have not given up in their intention to retain David de Gea in the club and they will try until the end to convince the goalkeeper. In these cases, the best way to convince him is by giving him more money, and this is what the Red Devils will offer him as soon as possible.

According to the Manchester Evening Standard, Manchester United are preparing a new renewal offer to the Spaniard, giving him even more money. Despite De Gea renewed his contract two years ago, just after he was about to move to Madrid, and his current deal expires in 2019, the Manchester United bosses are ready to offer him a new contract.

The goalkeeper could be offered a new contract of £200,000-a-week, so he will become one of the highest paid players in the squad. If De Gea rejects this offer, United must negotiate with Real Madrid because they don’t want to keep players in the club against their will.

At that point, it won’t be easy for Real Madrid. The British team has said several times that they will ask for the highest ever transfer fee for a goalkeeper. Currently the record is for Gianluigi Buffon because Juventus paid €50M to Parma. It was said that Real Madrid will pay €75M.

If Manchester United get this huge amount of money for De Gea, the cash won’t stay longer in the safe. The Red Devils will need to go into the market and find a replacement. The favourite one is Gianluigi Donnarumma, Milan goalkeeper, and the Italian club will also ask for more than €70M.

With this situation, it’s very likely that we will see another summer with a lot of rumours around David De Gea. Florentino Pérez wants to speed up the negotiation so we don’t see the same issues with the paperwork we witnessed two years ago. Real Madrid president has a masters degree in tough negotiations and De Gea’s will be another one.

Thousand of supporters went yesterday to the hotel where Atlético Madrid players rest before the games. They wanted to give them the strength and the support to try a comeback that it’s very unlikely. Diego Pablo Simeone started to prepare the second leg in the press conference at Santiago Bernabéu.

Los Blancos will face a terrible atmosphere. The stadium will be crowded and they will cheer their team and shout against the city rivals. Real Madrid already know that, as Zidane said in press conference, so the best idea is trying to attack and score some goals.

For this reason, the key player could be Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker is hungry in the last weeks and he’s showing his great skills as a forward in the Champions League, scoring 5 goals against Bayern Munich and 3 goals against Atlético Madrid at Bernabéu. Besides, this year Cristiano Ronaldo also scored a hat-trick (0-3) in in the victory in La Liga.

Having the same result, Real Madrid suffered a lot in their way to the Tenth Champions League against Borussia Dortmund. Los Blancos won (3-0) at Bernabéu and lost (2-0) in Germany, risking to be eliminated. Zidane knows it, so the team will look for Oblak since the whistle.

Another fact to be optimist is the good defensive skills showed lately in the Champions League semi-finals. Juventus were able to score three goals in 2015, including Morata’s goal to kick Madrid out of the competition. Earlier, the team didn’t concede any goal against Bayern Munich (1-0 and 0-4) in their way to Lisbon and last year Los Blancos didn’t concede against Manchester City (0-0 and 1-0). At the moment, Keylor Navas also had a clean sheet in the first leg and he will look forward to keeping it in this way.

1
Álvaro Morata

Álvaro Morata is one of the best strikers in Europe. He’s playing a great season despite not having many opportunities in the line-up. However, every time he can start the game, the Spaniard finds the net. So far, he’s scored 20 goals in the season, 15 of them in La Liga. These are his best numbers in his career, improving his performances with Juventus.

Obviously, he’s called the attention of the best teams in Europe and also outside of the continent. Actually, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Morata has received a very tempting offer from a holding group in China. He’s been offered a 5-year-deal, earning €35M per season. Yes, it’s not a mistake. In five years he could earn €175M. An offer that everybody should think twice before rejecting it.

Especially if Morata continues to play only the games with less importance in La Liga -although every single match is important to win the title-. The Spanish forward didn’t play El Clásico, the Derby or the Champions League quarter-finals against Bayern Munich. On the other hand, he played against Leganés, Sporting, Deportivo or Granada, scoring 7 goals in these games.

Apart from the Chinese offer, Morata has also some interesting proposals in Europe. Chelsea and Antonio Conte are the ones that have shown more interest. Now that they’ve almost won the Premier League title, the Blues need to build up a good team to fight for the Champions League next year. Diego Costa could leave and go back to Atlético Madrid, so Morata would be the perfect replacement.

It’s not clear yet whether he will stay or leave. Morata keeps saying that he was born in Madrid, he loves Real Madrid and he wants to continue at the club. On the other hand, his lacks of opportunities could make him think twice about his continuity. Especially, if Mbappé is the Galáctico chosen by Florentino Pérez.
