Varane

Real Madrid have four really full back players and this situation could turn out in a problem. Sergio Ramos and Pepe ended up the season playing really good and leading the team to the 11th Champions League. On the other hand, Nacho and Varane didn’t have many opportunities and both could leave the club this summer.

Nacho has several offers from Roma, Valencia and Sevilla and he knows it would be very difficult to have minutes next season at Real Madrid. A similar situation has Varane, who is thinking about his future, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

Varane didn’t play any minute in the quarter-finals and semi-finals in Champions League. Pepe and Sergio Ramos were the chosen ones for these crucial games of the season. Afterwards, he got injured and he missed the Champions League final and the Euro.

Zinedine Zidane has said several times that Varane is a great player and he should stay in the squad. However, the defender has doubts because he’s been on the bench in several games and would like to have the same role as in the French national team.

He’s been the captain in France and has been a key player from the World Cup until the Euro despite his injuries. Now he has to see his national team play the Euro at home after he missed as well some key games this year.

Raphael Varane enjoyed a lot of minutes at the beginning of the season with Rafael Benítez. With the injuries he was losing confidence and Pepe won the battle for the position. However, the numbers show that Varane has played more games than Pepe.

Varane knows he will have a lot of offers this summer. Manchester United is especially interested on signing the Frenchman. José Mourinho always liked Varane and will be very keen on bringing him to Old Trafford. Now Varane has to decide whether to stay or leave.

The Frenchman needs to take a break before coming back to work and prepare the next season in Real Madrid. He has to decide which players should leave the club and which players Real Madrid need to buy. Nacho Fernández is set to leave Real Madrid this summer. The lack of minutes this year was very important in Del Bosque’s decision to rule out Nacho for the Spanish squad this summer. And next season won’t be any different for Nacho because Pepe, Varane and Sergio Ramos are the favourite defenders for Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid won’t like to sell Nacho Fernández because he has played in all the different categories of the club. He has always said he is a Real Madrid supporter and want to play for the club. However, the lack of opportunities could end up with Nacho leaving the club he loves.

Roma is the team who has showed more interest on signing Nacho. Actually, the Italian club wanted as well the Spanish defender in the last transfer window but Real Madrid couldn’t lose the player then. Now, with Rudiger injured, the ‘Giallorossi’ would like to try to buy again the full back.

The Roman team is not the only club interested in signing Nacho. The Spanish teams Valencia and Sevilla are also bidding for the defender. The 26-year-old can play as a right back or full back and could be very useful for these teams. If Nacho decides to stay in Spain, Sevilla could be the right choice because they’re playing Champions League as the Europa League winners.

It will be tough for Valencia to get Nacho as the team is not playing in Europe this season. It’s very unlikely that a player who want to step up in his career after playing in Real Madrid decide to not play the Champions League.

Denis Cheryshev

Villarreal will play next season the Champions League and the club is already preparing a competitive squad to go through the qualification round and arrive to the group stage. Historically, Real Madrid and Villarreal have a good relationship and can get a double deal this summer.

Denis Cheryshev played two season ago at Villarreal. Thanks to his good performance at ‘El Submarino’, Real Madrid decided to get back the Russian after the loan last summer. However, he had a terrible experience this season because of the Copa del Rey shocking knock-out because Cheryshev couldn’t play after being booked with Villarreal the previous season.

In the winter transfer window, Cheryshev went to Valencia and ended up playing some good games at Mestalla despite his problems with the injuries. Valencia wanted to keep the youngster but Cheryshev could end up in another club.

According to Superdeporte. Villarreal could pay between 8M€ to 10M€ for the 50% of the player value. For this clause, if Villarreal sell eventually Cheryshev, Real Madrid would receive half of the money.

Apart from Cheryshev, Villarreal is also interested on Diego Llorente. He played for Rayo Vallecano on loan last season doing a really good job. Despite his good performance, Llorente couldn’t avoid Rayo’s relegation and he has to look for another club this summer. Villarreal, playing Champions League, could be a good club for him. Besides, Bailly was sold to Manchester United, so Villarreal need another full back as a replacement.

However, Diego Llorente could even stay at Real Madrid after his good performance at Vallecas. If Nacho finally leaves the club -he has a good offer from Roma- Real Madrid would need a fourth full back. Llorente could be the perfect fit for this. Let’s see what is Zidane’s decision.

If Real Madrid want to sign Paul Pogba, David de Gea or Lewandowski this summer, the club has to sell some players before. Despite big movements are not expected in Los Blancos squad, there are some footballers that could end up out of Madrid in September.

Florentino Pérez didn’t sign a star last summer so it’s very strange if the president doesn’t try to sign a top player in July. Especially with the Euro in France, there will be some top players shining, the perfect competition to see if these players are suitable for a big club like Real Madrid.

If De Gea finally arrives to Real Madrid -something not expected- Real Madrid have to sell Keylor Navas despite rising recently the salary. Keylor Navas price in the market is 30M€.

Kovavic is more likely to leave the club than any other in this list. Juventus is already interested in the Croatian player and could be sold for 40M€.

If Paul Pogba is bought in this summer, some top players should leave the club. James Rodríguez is the first name to come up in our minds. The Colombian player could be sold for 80M€ to a top European Club.

If Lewandowski or other big striker arrives, Karim Benzema can also leave the club despite being one of the favourite players of the presidente. Benzema’s price is 85M€ but it’s very unlikely that the Frenchman could leave the club.

It’s much more likely get some money for Álvaro Morata. Real Madrid have to pay 30M€ to Juventus but could sell the striker for 65M€, cashing 35M€.

Overall, Real Madrid can get 355M€ if the club is decided to renovate the squad.

Despite of Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic hasn’t played a lot this season, there are a lot of teams which are interested in him. One of those is the Italian champion Juventus, which is ready to offer of €20 million, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

But the problem is that Real won’t sell him for less €25 million because they bought him last summer for €30 million. According to Tuttosport, the Italian champion has chosen Kovacic because of Barcelona midfielder Mascherano’s release fee of €100 million and Valencia offensive midfielder André Gomes’ price is too expensive. On 11th June Spanish radio Radio Marca reported Juventus will ask for Kroos if Real go to sign Pogba, but in this case it looks Juve will try to sign Kovacic although Real don’t ask for Pogba.

Apart of Juventus, there are other Italian clubs which are interested in him, like his former team Inter, but Kovacic has said this week he won’t never play with Roberto Mancini as the coach. The other team who want him is AC Milan, but as they won’t play in Europe next season (even in Europa League), it’s difficult convince him.

Kovacic is considered as the future Modric, but it’s clear that he doesn’t have the experience of Modric, who is his teammate in Real and in the national team, playing now the EURO in France. He’s only 21 years old and it’s normal he lacks experience, but at the same time it means he has a long future in his career yet.

This season Kovacic has played totally 34 matches (25 in Liga, 8 in Champions League and 1 in Copa del Rey). It looks like it’s not bad, but he has only played as starting member for 12 times. As a matter of act, he made only 1 goal and 2 assists. In the Champions League final against Atlético de Madrid on 28th May, he wasn’t even in the bench.

Real Madrid 2016/2017 third kit has been leaked by Footy Headlines, a website speciallized leaking kits of a lot of football teams. In fact, few weeks ago they leaked the Real 16/17 home and away kit, which will be revealed officially by Adiddas in mid-July.

The new Real 16/17 third kit combines mostly black and a little of purple. According to Footy Headlines, the standout feature is a graphic inspired by the Plaza de Cibeles, the place where Real players and supporters traditionally celebrate title wins, as few weeks ago after winning the Champions League.

Black shorts and socks with similar accent colors will complement the new Real 16/17 third shirt, set to be used as primary international away jersey.

According to Spanish newspaper As, Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who is receiving €2,2 million this season, will receive the next season €4,5 million.

Last summer Real wanted to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Keylor was going to be the new United keeper. According to As, €4,5 million was the salary which United offered him. Real agreed with the player raise the salary if he do a well season.

Keylor signed for real in 2014, after a brilliant World Cup with his national team but in the first year he didn’t have a good year because Ancelotti chose Casillas as the starting goalkeeper.

This season 2015/16 has been consolidation year, receiving only 31 goals in 45 games. He didn’t receive any goal in 22 matches and he saved three penaltis of four times. That’s why Real executives and specially Zinedine Zidane are very happy with him.

Furthermore, the club is also happy with his decision about the injury. Keylor doesn’t think in holidays and now he is recuperating to be fit on 15th July, when starts the Real pre-season.

Spanish medias say Real definitely won’t go to sign De Gea because of Keylor. In addition, a lot of questionaires show Real fans are very happy with Costa Rican player and they wouldn’t change him for De Gea.

Despite of Sergio Ramos and Pepe have been decisive in these years and specially in this Champions League final, Real Madrid don’t stop searching defenders in the market new players who can improve Real security. Because we don’t must forget they have already past thirty years old.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real is interested in Atlético de Madrid defender José María Giménez, who has converted in one of the best young defenders of the world. 21 years old boy has managed to forget the fans Miranda, a key player few years ago for Atlético coach Simeone.

He’s always one of the starting member with Godín, avoiding a lot of rival chances. Oblak is a super goalkeeper, but they are one of the reasons why Slovenian goalkeeper has been the man who has received less goals in Liga.

The problem is that Atlético won’t sell him unless Real pay the release fee of €65 million. Furthermore, it has never been easy for Real deal with Atlético (logical considering that they don’t want to strengthen a historical rival), as when Manchester City forward Kun Agüero was about to sign for Real.

In addition, Zidane has other good substitutes of Ramos and Pepe like Varane and Nacho, but the problem is that both could leave Real in search of more minutes. The Spanish defender has played only 22 matches. The Frenchman has played more than his teammate, exactly 33 matches, but he could have played more if it had not been for Pepe, who initially started the season as the third centerback.

According to Spanish radio Radio Marca, the Italian champion Juventus will ask for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos if Los Blancos go to sign their key player, Paul Pogba.

Juventus’ plan is clear: they don’t want to sell Pogba. That’s why Juventus demand €120 million for French midfielder and Toni Kroos, according to Radio Marca. A historical figure plus one of the key players of Real, because Pogba would leave Serie A only to sign for Real Madrid.

It is known Pogba is an express request of Zidane. He has also said in public Juventus midfielder is a “fantastic player” on several ocassions and he has said today “everybody wants Pogba”. He was the one who brought Varane and who recommended Hazard when the Belgian forward wasn’t yet Chelsea player.

Juventus consider German midfielder would be a good substitute in the event that Pogba sign for Real. Many real fans were saying the best Kroos was seen first three months since he arrived, when Ancelotti was the Real coach. His end of season 2014/15 and at first of this season disappoint them but the end of this season has been brilliant, being decisive to win the Champions.

But we must remember Real bought Kroos for €25 million. His contract lasts until 2020 and according to Transfermarkt, he’s valued for €50 million, so if Real accept Pogba-Kroos transfer, they will require a much lower price.

Anyway, their prices would change because of the EURO. Both are favorites to win the title. In fact, in all bookmakers like Bwin, France is the most favorite and then Germany.

This season Kroos has played 44 matches (32 in Liga and 12 in Champions), making 1 goal and 13 assists, while Pogba has played 49 games (35 in Serie A, 8 in Champions, 5 in Italian Cup and 1 in Supercopa), making 10 goals 16 assists. Who would prefer you as Real midfielder?
