The Champions winner Real Madrid’ coach, Zinedine Zidane, has been nominated Kanakis Spaces ambassador in Bombay (India) and he was asked in the press conference about his team, specifically about Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

When the journalist pronounced “Pogba”, Zidane didn’t hide his smile and he said “everybody wants Pogba because he is very talented” but he didn’t want to say more and he finished saying “but he belongs to Juventus”.

That’s why Pogba is the center of attention during this EURO, celebrated in his country. Although he didn’t play a brilliant game against Romania, Juventus won’t sell him cheap, as the Italian newspaper reported few days ago his price: €120 million. It would be the most expensive transfer in history.

The French coach was asked also about Isco, who plays in the same position of Pogba and he hasn’t played all the games he would have liked to play. That’s one of the reasons that a lot of medias say Isco could be sold this summer. Although there are other medias which say he can be renewed, whose contract lats until 2018.

‘Zizou’ praised him saying “he’s very young and he has own style, he doesn’t need to copy Zidane’ style. He has a promising future”. Frequently people says his play style is similar to Zidane’ style. In fact, Zidane was asked about it when two years ago, when he was yet Ancelotti’s assistant, and he answered joking “I was a little better”.

Zidane, who has debuted as Real coach winning the Champions League, assures it isn’t enough: “I put a lot of passion in my job and although I’ve won the Champions, I feel I have still much to do. I took five months as Real coach. My immediate objective is improve Real. I think about the day to day”.

In the last summer transfer window, Real Madrid and Manchester United negotiated until the last minute for David de Gea. Both clubs finally arrived to a deal but the fax arrived late and the goalkeeper had to stay one year more in Manchester. All the reports said that Florentino wanted to sign the Spanish goalkeeper and will do it in the summer of 2016 but things have changed until now.

Zinedine Zidane arrived to the Real Madrid and Keylor Navas was one of the best players in the season. Besides, the club lifted the 11th Champions League trophy and the Costa Rican goalkeeper was one of the best men in the competition. Now, it will be hard to tell the fans that Keylor Navas should leave despite his great season.

The French coach is also convinced that Navas is the best goalkeeper for Real Madrid right now. He also has the opportunity to count on Kiko Casilla, the second goalkeeper who has performed really well in the few games he could play.

According to Marca newspaper, Florentino Pérez has ruled out De Gea signing. The president is an admirer of De Gea but the signing will be really expensive for a position that is already covered in the team. Real Madrid could use De Gea’s money to sign other players like Paul Pogba.

On the other hand, De Gea is been always very polite when he talks about his future. Now he’s in France with the Spanish national team but he wanted to welcome José Mourinho, his new coach at Manchester United: “United needed a coach like Mourinho. He has a strong personality and a winning character. Signing him is a wise decision”.

De Gea was also asked about his possibilities to leave the club this summer: “I’m very grateful to Manchester United and I’m very happy there”. It looks like he’s going to stay longer than expected at Old Trafford but now the Red Devils have a team and a coach to fight for major trophies.

Winning the Champions League have two extra perks. One is playing the European Supercup in August against the Europa League champions, in this case Sevilla. Another one is playing the FIFA World Cup in December to be called the “best team in the world”.

This year the Fifa Club World Cup will be held in Japan from the 8th to the 18th of December. Real Madrid will battle for the title with the best teams from Africa, North and South America, Asia, Oceania and some team from the host country.

This time, Real Madrid will have to fly far away to try to win again this trophy, so the calendar will be changed and some La Liga games will be postponed.

Last time Real Madrid played the FIFA Club World Cup was in 2014, this time in Morocco. Los Blancos won the tournament after beating (4-0) Mexican team Cruz Azul in the semifinal and Argentinian squad San Lorenzo (2-0) in the final. It was Carlo Ancelotti’s last title at Real Madrid because after the World Cup Real Madrid started to lose strength and finished the season without titles.

If Real Madrid beat Sevilla in Norway in August in the European Supercup and also win the FIFA World Cup in December, Los Blancos will end 2016 with three new titles. These two tournaments are the first challenges for Zidane in his first whole season as Real Madrid manager. The French coach has to be very careful with the physical status of the squad because playing this major trophy in December usually is a big challenge for the footballers.

Only 15 days after lifting the 11th Champions League for Real Madrid, the players will start another important competition and should think now completely different.

Florentino Pérez always wanted to have the best players in the world at Real Madrid. Now this diversity of nationalities will fight for the European Championship in France. Who will win the title?

Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vázquez in Spain

Sergio Ramos is one of the most important players in the Spanish squad. His colleague in the defence will be Gerard Piqué, great rival during the whole season. After the terrible World Cup, Spain and Sergio Ramos have to show the world they still can fight for a major trophy with the national team.

Lucas Vázquez was the great surprise in Del Bosque’s squad. The youngster made his debut with Spain last Tuesday in the defeat against Georgia. Being in the Euro is already a prize for Lucas Vázquez and he’ll have to earn his minutes in the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe in Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo is the star in Portugal. Fernando Santos, the Portuguese coach, has a lot of confidence in the Real Madrid forward who scored two goals in the last game with Portugal against Estonia. Cristiano had injury problems in the last weeks of competition and it’s a big question mark his physical shape.

Despite his age, Pepe has played a really good season at Real Madrid. He earned his starting position in the defense line and will play as well for Portugal as a full back.

Modric and Kovacic in Croatia

Luka Modric is the most important player for Croatia. The Balcanic team want to be the big surprise in the tournament and they have really good players to do so. Modric’s performance will be basic to know if Croatia can arrive far away in the Euro.

Mateo Kovacic will also be in the Croatian midfield along with Modric and Rakitic. They will face Spain in the group stage.

Toni Kroos in Germany

After winning the World Cup two years ago, Germany is one of the main favourites to lift the trophy. Toni Kroos is a key player for Joachin Low.

Gareth Bale in Wales

Wales will play the first Euro in his history. The qualification came thanks to Gareth Bale’s performance, guiding his team mates to France. Being in the tournament is already a success but Wales would like to go through the group stage.

Paul Pogba is a dream for Real Madrid. But a dream that could come true. The Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport says that Real Madrid is ready to bid 120 M€ for the French midfielder.

The Juventus businessman Beppe Marota will travel next week to Madrid to meet the Real board with Morata’s and Pogba’s future on the table. According to the newspaper, Florentino Pérez has decided to accomplish Zidane’s orders and get Pogba.

Zidane always keeps a close eye on the French and Italian football. The Real coach played several years for Juventus and travel very often to Torino so he knows very well Paul Pogba. He wants the midfielder in the squad for the next season but it won’t be a cheap transfer.

According to the newspaper, Juventus won’t let go Pogba for less than 100 M€ and the bid could be as high as 120 M€. If this happens, it would be the most expensive transfer in the history, beating the Bale one. Pogba’s agent is Mino Raiola, the same as Zltan Ibrahimovic and the negotiations are never easy with this man on the table.

The transfer could be a little less expensive if Morata is in the deal. Real have a buyback option for 30 M€ that could be used to buy Paul Pogba. Especially, if Morata finally ends up in Chelsea, who is willing to pay up to 60 M€.

Florentino Pérez has to think if it’s a good idea bring another star to the squad, already full of top players with Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, James Rodríguez or Luka Modric. If Pogba finally arrives to Bernabéu, James Rodríguez won’t have space for himself and could be sold to a Premier League top club.

Nacho Fernández had the opportunity to leave Real Madrid in the Winter transfer window but he decided to finish the season at ‘Los Blancos’. The club showing more interest on the defender was Roma and the ‘Giallorossi’ club is back to fight for the defender.

Antonio Rüdiger, Roma defender, got injured this week with a serious problem in his knee. He will miss the Euro with Germany and cannot start the next season with Roma. For this reason, the team is looking for a replacement and Nacho is the favourite one.

Luciano Spalletti’s team had several problems in the defence line last season and should improve these positions if they want to reach the group stage in the Champions League. Rudiger and Manolas were the full backs last season and, with the German born ruled out, the team needs another defender.

Nacho Fernández didn’t have a lot of minutes last season with Zidane and will be again the fourth full back in the squad. Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Raphael Varane will fight for the two positions in the line up and Nacho will only play when one of them are ruled out.

The 26-year-old defender can think on having more minutes and an European big squad. Roma will play the Champions League next season and they always fight for the Scudetto title, despite not winning it.

Del Bosque didn’t call Nacho for the Spanish squad for the Euro due to this lack of minutes at Real Madrid. If Nacho wants to play in the national team he could think that leaving Real Madrid will give him more chances.

From the Real Madrid’s perspective, Nacho could be sold. This summer, Diego Llorente will come back after his loan in Rayo Vallecano. Llorente could be the perfect replacement in the squad for Nacho.

The Forbes magazine has published the ranking with the highest paid athletes in the world. Every year, this prestigious magazine take in consideration several factors to evaluate and make the list.

According to Forbes, Cristiano Ronaldo is the world highest paid sportsman. He earnd a total of 77,2 M€ and overpassed Floyd Mayweather who was at the top last year but retired from boxing.

After Cristiano Ronaldo, Leo Messi is the highest earner with 71,3 M€ and Lebron James, 67,7 M€. Roger Federer is the fourth in this ranking with 59,5 M€. The third footballer we can find in the ranking is Neymar, in the 21st position, earning 32,9 M€. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is below Neymar with 32,8 M€ and Gareth Bale is in the 25th position with 21,5 M€. Sergio Agüero is fifth in the footballer’s ranking, earning a total of 21,5 M€.

In the top-10 list we can find other athletes like Kevin Durant, Novak Djokovic, Cam Newton, Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth or Kobe Bryant, who is about to retire. So there are two footballers, three basketball players, two tennis players, two golf professionals and one NFL player.

This ranking take in consideration not only the salary but all the money earned in advertising and several other contacts.

Forbes is the prestigious magazine that every year makes several rankings to know who are the richest people in the player. They are able to divide it by country or by profession. Cristiano Ronaldo is able to lift his third Champions League trophy in 2016 and he is also in the top of the list of the highest earners in the world.

Álvaro Morata is the target for a lot of clubs in Europe. The last team showing interest for the Juventus player is Manchester United. José Mourinho wants Morata dressed in red next season and want to push a meeting between both clubs to reach an agreement.

The new project for the Red Devils should be a winner one after several disappointments in the last years. Morata could be sharing the dressing room with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who should be arriving to Manchester this week. This shouldn’t be a problem because both strikers could play together, according to Mourinho.

Reports from Spanish newspaper Marca says that Manchester United can place a bid of 60M€ for the Madrid born striker. Real Madrid can buy Morata for 30M€ if they execute the buyback clause before the 15th of July.

Manchester United have several competitors to get Morata. Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, is also very interested on signing the striker. Actually, the Italian would like to reach an agreement in this week, before the Euro starts.

Morata already said he wanted to play for Real Madrid because it’s his dream but he could have few opportunities at Chamartín. With Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo in the frontline, Morata could spend another year on the bench.

At Juventus, he wasn’t always in the starting line up. Despite this important fact, he was able to score crucial goals, for instance the one that gave Juventus the last Coppa Italia. Morata also played a great game against Bayern Munchen in the last 16 game in the Champions League. So it’s clear Morata is made for big games.

Now he has to be the topscorer for the national Spanish team in the Euro. Del Bosque has chosen him as the main reference for the front line and Morata will have a lot of eyes on him

Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro is being appointed as a new coach for Real Oviedo. Oviedo is a club in the Spanish Second Division although they’ve been playing in the top League for several years.

In the last season, Oviedo went down to the Third Division and risk to disappear but Carlos Slim and other important investors kept the club in the top leagues. Last year Oviedo were promoted to the Second Division and this year they were fighting until the last game to play the promotion playoff.

Oviedo were in the first positions of the Second División for several months but a problem between the squad and the coach Egea ended up with the manager out of the club. After this serious issue, the team kept losing games and lost every change to get promoted to La Liga.

Today Real Oviedo’s chief, Arturo Elías, made public the name of the next coach, Fernando Hierro.

“I’ve been convinced of the great value Fernando Hierro is going to give to the project after speaking with him. Hierro’s contribution to the project will be comprehensive, from the basics until the exigence of being the first coach of Real Oviedo. Our intention is to bring back Oviedo to the First División in a three to five years period. I’m sure Fernando Hierro will help us to achieve it”.

Fernando Hierro has little experience as a coach but he’s been always involved in football projects. Hierro was the assistant manager of Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid in the last season of the Italian at Bernabéu. Hierro has also been working for Málaga and the Spanish national team in a business role.

He played in Real Madrid from 1989 to 2003 winning three Champions League among other major trophies. Hierro played 439 games scoring 102 goals becoming one of the ever great defenders in the world.

James Rodríguez is a different player when he is with his national team. The playmaker is doing a really good job in this Copa America and Colombia is already in the quarter-finals after beating 2-1 Paraguay. James Rodríguez scored one goal and was the best player of the game.

He spoke after the clash and told the press he enjoys playing for Colombia: “Here (Colombia) I’m happy and I play even lame. I always want to play and help. We have to keep going like this”, he said after scoring a goal and leading his team to the next stage.

He also spoke about his situation at Real Madrid: “I dream to keep playing in a big club like Real Madrid. It’s been always my wish”. Finally he also spoke about his second goal in the Copa América: “I think when you train a lot, these things happen”.

Not everything related to James Rodríguez are good news. He could have to undergo surgery due to a shoulder problem. “This [shoulder] problem can happen again, he will have to have surgery at some point”, said his coach José Pekerman.

However, James will continue playing for Colombia in this Copa América: “James is a key player for us, his presence should never be ruled out”, Pekerman said. James Rodríguez has scored two goals in this competition helping Colombia to win both games and being the first team to go through to the second round.

After a frustrating season at Real Madrid, James Rodríguez is happy playing for Colombia. Every time he has played for his national team this season he’s performed an impressive performance but he has problems at Los Blancos. Will he stay at Real Madrid next season?
