Some newspapers as Marca reports an attack to a Real Madrid supporters club in Irak. At least 16 people were killed but gunmen who opened fire randomly.

In the attack, other 16 people were injured so it’s feared that the number of casualties could rise. The gunmen entered in a room full of Real Madrid suporters and opened fire.

The shocking news were received by the club just hours before they started the trip to La Coruña, where they’ll face Deportivo in the last game of the season in La Liga.

Los Blancos could win La Liga title if they beat Deportivo away and Barcelona cannot win at Granada.

Zinedine Zidane is optimistic about this team’s odds to win La Liga. Real Madrid have won 11 games in a row and they’re just one point behind Barcelona. If the Blaugranas lose or draw at Granada and Real Madrid beat Deportivo, Los Blancos will be the La Liga champions.

However, Zidane is not concerned about what could happen at Los Carmenes: “We are going to give our best performance and try to win the game, we can’t control matters elsewhere”.

He doesn’t want to speak about the Champions League final because “the most important game of our lives is Saturday’s, we have to win to get all three points”, he said in the press conference.

Joan Gaspart is a controversial person and he’s not really fond of Real Madrid. The former Barcelona president has spoken about his impressions for the last La Liga game on Saturday after his experience in the board.

Gaspart was vice-president of Barcelona when the Blaugranas won two leagues in Tenerife in the very last game. He denies giving money to Tenerife for beating Real Madrid. “Whoever says that is a liar, an evil mind. Barcelona only invited Tenerife to the Joan Gamper Trophy. We didn’t pay one euro”.

He’s very angry about the “campaign” launched by Madrid press and the possibility of giving money to Granada in order to beat Barcelona in the last game.

“Real Madrid only harm football. If I were a Granada player, I’d be offended because they’re saying that I’m for sale. I believe in football and honesty”.

According to Marca, Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez, is going to meet with Real captains -Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Pepe- to convey a message of support before the game against Deportivo this Saturday.

Florentino knows in what moment of season they are. Few months ago, the team was an absolute chaos. The relationship between Benítez and the players was bad and no one had hope in this team.

Raúl González Blanco, one of the Real Madrid legend, spoke as La Liga’s ambassador at a Soccerex event in Mexico about the Champions League final which Real Madrid is going to play against Atlético de Madrid on the 28th of May.

Real Madrid and Espanyol have a really good relationship and every year both clubs interchange some players. This summer, for instance, Los Blancos signed Lucas Vázquez and Kiko Casilla after their good performance at the Barcelona club.

Los Periquitos have targeted three other madridistas for the next season: Marco Asensio, Diego Llorente and Kiko Casilla.

Diego Llorente played for Rayo Vallecano this season, showing a great performance, either as a full back or as a stopper. Rayo Vallecano is about to be relegated to the Second Division but Llorente is a top division player. Both teams are already talking and are about to reach a deal.

Marco Asensio has a different situation. The player arrived last year to Real Madrid from Mallorca but left on loan to Espanyol. He played a really good season at Cornellà and the club would like the player to stay another year on loan.

It will be more difficult for Espanyol to get the other player targeted. Kiko Casilla has been on the bench the whole season but he did a good job every time he had the chance. For instance, he played against Valencia in the last game of the season at Bernabéu Stadium and was the best player on the pitch. If De Gea arrives to Madrid, Casilla is expected to leave the club and Espanyol could be a good option.

Surely that Atlético de Madrid’s striker Fernando Torres won’t be happy with UEFA’s decission. The referee for Champions League’s final in Milan on May 28th will be Mark Clattenburg, who showed one of the few red cards that Fernando Torres has seen in his career.

When Torres was yet Chelsea’s number 9, he was expelled by Clattenburg through double yellow. It happened on October 20th in 2012 against Manchester United. The English referee’s decission was so controversial that he was suspended one month without work.

Clattenburg will judge the second final between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid. He has been appointed four times to Los Blancos and they have won all those matches. The last game was this season, against PSG (1-0) in the group stage.

On the other hand, Los Rojiblancos has played with Clattenburg as the referee seven times. Four wins, two draws and one defeat. The last match was also this season. It was exactly one month ago, in the victory against Bayern at Vicente Calderón (1-0).
