Some reporters are linking again Thibaut Courtois with Real Madrid. The Belgian goalkeeper has been always a target for Real Madrid, especially when he was playing at Atlético de Madrid, but now the position seem covered.

Real Madrid has now two really good goalkeepers. Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla has shown that both are really fit to defend the Los Blancos goal. The Costa Rican born season has been especially outstanding and thanks to him, the club was fighting for two major titles until the end of the season.

However, reporters are linking Thibaut Courtois with Real Madrid, according to The Sun. The Belgian goalkeeper is a bit disappointed with The Blues season as he expected to fight for titles when he moved to Stamford Bridge.

The transfer wouldn’t be cheap. Courtois is valued with 80M € for Roman Abramovich and, if Real Madrid wants to sign him, it’d be a really difficult move.
Courtois won the Premier League title in his first season at The Bridge with José Mourinho playing 32 games in the season. This year he only played 23 Premier League games in a disastrous season for the West London club.

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s two goals against Deportivo moved him to overcome the 50 goal milestone mark for the sixth straight season. This season he has scored 35 goals in La Liga and 16 in the Champions League.

Since Cristiano arrived at Real Madrid, he has turned into a goal machine. 54 (2010-11), 60 (2011-12), 55 (2012-13), 51 (2013-14) and 61 (2014-15) are the amount of goals he scored in the last five years. The only season he didn’t surpass the 50 goal mark was in 2009-10, his first year as Real Madrid player.

In the other hand, Barcelona striker Leo Messi scored more than 50 goals three years in a row, from 2010-11 until 2012-13. And this season he scored 41 goals.

However, in these seven years, Cristiano only won one Liga title, whereas Messi has won five. It’s a pity that so many goals weren’t a tool to win more leagues.

Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, spoke after the match against Deportivo. As Barcelona won against Granada, Luis Enrique’s squad became La Liga champions.

Ramos did self-criticism saying “now we must learn and remember the points we lost”. However, Ramos said he was happy because “after a lot of changes all the season, we could form the best team. The disappointment is losing but we congratulate the champion”.

Los Blancos lost other La Liga more, but on 28th May they are playing against Atlético de Madrid the Champions League final. Ramos commented: “Ee have a beautiful and fabulous Champions final which we’d like to win to finish the season well”.

After the match, Ramos posted this message on his Twitter account, cheering up Real fans facing the Champions final in Milan: “We fought and believed. No Liga but we have THE FINAL ahead. To Milan, with this commitment and spirit. #HalaMadrid”

The third Real Madrid captain, Marcelo, admitted after beating Deportivo that “winning the Liga is always difficult and the team didn’t start well this season”.

However, Marcelo praised his team and he pointed the handicap of changing the coach in the middle of the season. “The coach arrived in the middle of the season and it’s difficult. But we’ve finished a point away and we did a very good work. Real must always win something. Now we have a final to finish the season well”.

On the 28th of May, Real will face Atlético de Madrid in the Champions League final. If they win the ‘Undécima’ (means 11th Champions in Spanish), it’d have been a good season. If they lose, it would be the second straight year without titles.

That’s why now Real only thinks about preparing this game, like Marcelo, who said that is a “very hard and difficult game”, and although they have 15 days for preparing it, he said that isn’t too much.

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, admitted after winning Deportivo they are “a little disappointed”. It’s understandable considering that they couldn’t win the Liga title even though they broke a new record winning last 12 matches in a row.

“I’m very proud of my players and everybody who work around the team. We are a little disappointed but finally, after 38 games, we must think Barcelona is ahead and we can’t change it, they deserve this Liga and ‘chapeau’ for us”, said in press conference.

Furthermore, Zidane said he is “happy” with “what the team is doing” because despite of “have difficulties, they never give up and they always fight until final”.

Real coach announced he will give one or two days off for players to “return to properly prepare the Champions final” against Atlético de Madrid.

Real Madrid won at Deportivo’s home 0-2 thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored both goals. As Barcelona won also their match against Granada, Real victory was useless.

The first gol arrived in the 7th minute. Bale passed to Benzema after dribbling Manuel Pablo, Karim tried to shoot but he finally passed to Cristiano and he scored in front of the goal.

Then, at minute 24 Ronaldo scored the second goal with a header. If he Hadn’t hit the posts twice, Cristiano would have scored four goals. He was trying to score more goals but he was sustitute in the second half, so Luis Suárez was awarded with the Pichichi (Liga top scorer) of this season.

In the second half, Keylor saved two goals but the game has not the same pace because everybody knew Barcelona was winning at Los Cármenes. Now it’s time to think about the Champions League final in Milan.

Toni Kroos is a piece of jewellery in the summer transfer market. Many clubs would like to have in their squad the German midfielder, among them Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG.

The German midfielder looks happy at Madrid, where he won a Champions League two years ago and it’s an essential piece in Zidane’s team. However, this year Kroos hasn’t played at a great level and could leave the club next summer.

Toni Kroos arrived to Madrid two years ago, after the Brazilian World Cup from Bayern de Munich for a transfer fee of 25M€. After these two years, the 26-years-old midfield is considered a fixed piece in Real Madrid squad. Therefore, if any club wants him they should prepare to pay at least 50M €, according to The Express.

Manchester City and Pep Guardiola seem very interested in the player. The catalan coach has a good feeling with Kroos after the season both worked together at Bayern.

Zinedine Zidane has all the squad fit to face Deportivo de la Coruña in the last game in La Liga. The only player ruled out is Lucas Vázquez, who suffered a knee sprained and it’s expected to rest at Riazor despite it’s an special game for him.

Lucas Vázquez was born in a little town close to La Coruña but he should be patient and rest thinking in the Champions League final. The youngster has travelled with all the squad to La Coruña just in case the madridistas can celebrate La Liga title.

Zidane only has this minor problem because all the other players look fit to start at Riazor. The coach might give some rest to Gareth Bale, who had some problems in the past and might not want to risk the Milan final.

Keylor Navas is expected to return to the goal and Pepe, Carvajal and Modric are ready to start. Zidane could lineup a similar team that will face Atlético in San Siro.

Víctor Sánchez del Amo, Deportivo’s coach, has more problems. Despite the team escaped from the relegation positions, there is a really bad atmosphere at La Coruña. Real Madrid main’s concern is Lucas Pérez who has scored 17 goals in La Liga this season.

In the head-to-head, Real Madrid won the last three games at Riazor (2-8, 0-4 and 1-2) but it’s been a tough stadium in Los Blancos history. Zidane’s first game on Real Madrid’s bench was against Deportivo with a 5-0 victory.

Alvaro Morata

Álvaro Morata is always linked to Real Madrid but his second season at Juventus was a bit disappointed. The 23-years-old forward only scored seven goals this season in Serie A in 33 games.

However, the striker played a key role in the great last season for Juventus, reaching the Champions League final. Some rumours linked Morata with Real Madrid again in sustitution of Jesé, who is set to leave Los Blancos.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal is looking for a forward to cover the absence of Danny Welbeck, who can be ruled out for nine months.

Apart from Morata, the gunners are also interested on Mauro Icardi and Michi Batshuayi.
