Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski will turn down approaches from Premier League clubs this summer in the hope he can complete a move to Real Madrid when their transfer ban ends, according to reports.

The Independent newspaper claimed the Poland international is attracting the interest of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City but will turn down any offer he receives from them.

The 27-year-old has been a major success in the Bundesliga since arriving from Lech Poznan in 2010. With Borussia Dortmund and now Bayern Munich, he has won every honour in Germany and is believed to be keen to test himself in a new league while still in his prime.

The striker has long attracted the attention of Real, who were keen on him when he left Dortmund in 2014. He signed a five-year deal with the Allianz Arena outfit and they are believed to be keen to extend that deal until 2021. With Pep Guardiola set to leave the club this summer to be replaced by ex-Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern fear a number of the star players could follow suit in search of a new challenge.

Lewandowski has already scored 25 goals in just 27 games this season as Bayern look set to retain the title they won last season.

FA Cup holders Arsenal have been given the green light by Real Madrid to go-ahead and make an offer for playmaker Isco.

The 23-year-old has struggled to make an impression at the Santiago Bernabeu this season and the club is willing to let him go should the Gunners offer 30 million euros for the former Malaga man, according to El Confidencial.

Arsene Wenger has already signed Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny this January but is expected to make reinforcements to his midfield in the summer. Mikel Arteta, Matieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky are all in the twilight of their careers and could all depart. Spain international Santi Cazorla is also entering the autumn of his career and signing Isco would be an ideal long-term replacement for the World Cup winner.

Should the Gunners make a move for the midfielder, they would likely face competition from Manchester City who are known to be long-term admirers of the player.

The only potential stumbling block in Isco exiting the Santiago Bernabeu is the transfer ban handed down to the club earlier this month. They are unable to register new players for the next two transfer windows meaning they will not be keen to reduce their playing squad at the moment. But with an appeal likely to delay the ban coming into force until next year, they would be able to replace Isco in the summer if they wish to cash in.

Denis Cheryshev

Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev is looking for a way out of the club as he wants more first team football.

The youth team product has failed to establish himself at the Santiago Bernabeu after a couple of loan spells away from the club. He spent a season at Sevilla and then at Villarreal and hoped his return this season would see him feature more in the starting eleven at Real.

But the 24-year-old Russia international was used sparingly under Rafa Benitez and there are no signs things will change under new boss Zinedine Zidane.

The winger wouldn’t have a problem finding a new club should the 10-time Champions League winners be willing to allow him to exit at this stage – knowing a transfer ban is soon to come into force that prevents them signing new players until the the end of the 2016-17 season.

Fichajes.net claims Villarreal and Valencia are keen on him still with both having tried to lure him away last summer. Premier League outfit Liverpool are also believed to be interest in the midfielder.

Cheryshev hit the headlines this season after he featured and scored in the win in the Copa del Rey over Cadiz in November. Having picked up three yellow cards while on loan last season, he was infact meant to be sitting out the game through suspension. His inclusion in the team that night saw the club thrown out of the competition.

The president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, has hit out at the transfer bans handed out to Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid, as well as the one given to Barcelona last year, labeling them as ‘medieval’.

Real and Atletico were found guilty of breaching rules over the signing of young players from overseas. FIFA has banned them from registering players for the summer transfer window this year and next year’s January window.

Both clubs will appeal the ban in the hope it will be overturned, or at least give them the chance to bolster their squads in the summer.

Barcelona were given a similar ban for the same offence and were prevented from making signings in the January or summer windows in 2015.

Speaking to an audience at a conference in Brussels, Tebas slammed the decision to ban the teams from making transfers adding that youth players who arrive from overseas are not only given a great footballing education but are all well looked after and receive a great education off the field too.

“It is medieval and anachronistic that FIFA punishes Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico for having model academies where the children receive not just a great sporting formation, but also education,” Tebas said.

He added: “La Liga is against child slavery and trafficking of minors but this has nothing to do with coming to play football at the schools of Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico, because it is undoubtable that there they are well looked after. What is needed is to change the rules on youths in a rational way, because what FIFA is doing makes no sense.”

The latest Real Madrid transfer rumours involve David de Gea, Keylor Navas, Daniel Carvajal and Rodrigo Bentancur.

Spanish football magazine Don Balon has claimed Los Blancos are still planning to bring David de Gea to the Santiago Bernabeu. Apparently, Florentino Perez is ready to make another attempt next summer and that would mean that Keylor Navas would have to leave the club.

Don Balon has claimed that Real have already received a 40-million-euro offer for the Costa Rica international. Los Merengues directors would see this as a good deal, since they would make some money and still have a world-class goalkeeper in the squad.

In other Real Madrid transfer rumours, Spanish press have also reported that Chelsea have joined the list of Daniel Carvajal admirers. The Blues have reportedly contacted Los Blancos about the player’s situation. Yet, Florentino Perez is not willing to let the Spaniard go, especially now that he has become a crucial piece of the team under Zinedine Zidane’s management.

Regarding possible arrivals, Perez has recently claimed that Real will not bring any players in the winter transfer market. However, sources from Spain are reporting that Los Blancos keep looking for a left-back and a forward.

Rodrigo Bentancur’s arrival, which seemed certain a few days ago, has been now put on hold. Marca had claimed the deal was done and the 19-year-old would cost ten million euros, but the same newspaper has stated now that Perez has changed his mind about the Argentinian midfielder.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to offer Barcelona star Neymar da Silva Santos to become the highest paid player in the world, according to Catalonian newspaper Sport.

The Los Blancos president is determined to bring the Brazilian to the Santiago Bernabeu and he would offer a 35-million-euro salary, twice what Cristiano Ronaldo makes -the Portuguese earns 17 million per season.

Neymar would also double his current salary and he would make almost twice what Leo Messi gets at Barcelona.

Although the rumours seem completely mad, Spanish press are insisting Perez has 190 million prepared to bring the 23-year-old to Madrid next summer.

Yet, first there are two important requirements for Neymar’s signing to succeed: the appeal to the transfer ban will have to go through for Madrid to be able to buy next summer, and Los Blancos will need to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to pay for Neymar’s transfer.

Perez is convinced that signing would cause a Figo-effect, repeating the strategy he used in his first year at Real Madrid, when he brought Luis Figo and started an era of success.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says defender Raphael Varane is likely to go on and captain the club one day.

The 22-year-old has been at the 10-time Champions League winners since 2011 having signed from Lens. The early part of his Los Blancos career was blighted by injury but he has gone on to establish himself as an important player in the squad.

Last season his finally competed regularly for a place in the side managing to dislodge the long-establish partnership between Pepe and Sergio Ramos at the heart of the defence. This season, Varane has made 15 appearances in La Liga.

Speaking to France Football, Perez said the Frenchman has all it takes to become captain as he has excellent leadership qualities.

He stated: “I am convinced that Varane will one day be captain of Real Madrid. He is adored by the fans. Not only is he is a great player, he is also a great person.”

The president also took time to discuss his other French star in the squad – Karim Benzema – and says the striker is unlucky to have been caught up in the blackmail scandal against international team mate Matieu Valbuena.

Having known him for many year, Perez says Benzema is not a nasty person and was likely to have wanted to only help the Lyon midfielder.

“We have supported him [Benzema] and we will always support him. Having spoken to him, I’m sure that it is impossible to think that he did something bad. He is a good lad and I am absolutely convinced that, above all, his intention was to help his friend Mathieu Valbuena.”

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says people shouldn’t write Los Blancos off in the title race just yet.

Zinedine Zidane’s team lost ground on leaders Barcelona at the weekend as they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Real Betis.

The result leaves the 10-time Champions League winners four points off the pace with Barcelona having a game in hand and able to extend their lead to seven points. City rivals Atletico de Madrid are also four points ahead but have played the same amount of games.

But speaking to Madrid-based daily Marca, German World Cup winner Kroos said Real are determined to fight all the way to the end of the campaign.

“We won’t give up, that would be stupid. We’ve still got to play Barca and they could be dropping points at other grounds. Obviously the situation isn’t ideal, but things are changing,” he stated.

And he added: “If you look at our last few performances, we’re playing a lot better. Like I said, the situation in the table isn’t ideal, but we have to keep working hard and improving the way we have done in the last three matches. We’ve got to kick on and pick up as many points as possible from here on.”

Former Portugal star Paulo Futre says he believes Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid for one last big pay day.

Much speculation surrounds the 30-year-old all-time leading scorer of Los Blancos, with the striker linked to former employers Manchester United. Should he decide to call it a day at the Santiago Bernabeu, the forward would have no shortage of lucrative offers from the likes of PSG in France and a host of clubs in the MLS.

Ronaldo insists he is happy in the Spanish capital and would like to see out his career at the 10-time Champions League winners but Futre thinks otherwise.

In quotes published by Marca, he stated: “I believe that the past few months have been a bit strange for Cristiano. It has been disheartening times for him. He has not been getting the affection he needs, although things are slightly better now following the arrival of Zinedine Zidane.”

And he continued: “The big question is whether he will stay with Madrid or leave for PSG or Manchester United and I believe he will leave. I think a lot of things will have to change in order to convince him to stay. It is the last opportunity for him and Jorge Mendes to negotiate a big contract somewhere in Europe.

James Rodriguez agent Jorge Mendes has started negotiations with Manchester United about a possible transfer, British tabloid Sunday Express has revealed.

According to this newspaper, the Red Devils are ready to offer 83 million euros to bring the Colombia international to Old Trafford.

Sunday Express has claimed United are not the only club Mendes is talking to about James. He is even discussing the possibility of a winter transfer market move.

Mendes has excellent relations with Manchester United, and that could benefit the Red Devils should Florentino Perez agree to sell. However, it seems highly unlikely that the Los Blancos president will let the Colombian go, especially with the transfer ban threat still there.

James has been unhappy at Real Madrid in the last few months, and he might be willing to seek a move out. Perez hopes that Zinedine Zidane’s arrival will make him change his mind.
