Juventus star Paul Pogba would be welcomed at Real Madrid insists Raphael Varane should the Turin giants be willing to sell.
The Frenchmen has really flourished since leaving Manchester United in 2012 with Paris Saint-Germain and his former employers interested in signing him.
“I have no information about any move,” Varane told French football programme Telefoot. “But personally, if it happens, I’d be very happy. I would love to play with him, but it’s not my decision obviously.”
The 20-year-old is considered a very promising young player alongside his French counterpart who both made their international debuts last March against Georgia.
Varane recently made his comeback in the first team at Real Madrid following two long-term injuries. After making a sensational debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu, he missed the latter stages of last season’s campaign in which Los Blancos fell at the semi-final stage of the Champions League and lost the Copa del Rey final.
He made his comeback in October, but picked up a knee injury while on international duty with France as Les Bleus saw off Ukraine in the World Cup play-offs last November.
