Real Madrid is looking into the transfer market but the club is still hesitating to make a big move this summer. So far, Los Blancos have only signed Álvaro Morata from Juventus after using the re-buy clause the club had about the Spanish striker.

However, Real Madrid are still working to improve the squad looking ahead of the new season. Zinedine Zidane wants to have more players in the midfield and the club is working to sign a good reinforce for this position.

Paul Pogba is about to sign with Manchester United and N’Golo Kanté, former Leicester player, signed some days ago for Chelsea. With these options gone, the club is still looking to the Premier League to look for a good replacement for Casemiro as a stopper.

Real Madrid had a close eye on Sissoko, the Newcastle midifielder that played really good for France in the Euro. He doesn’t want to play in the Championship but the Northeast England club wants at least £35M.

According the the Evening Standard, Florentino Pérez wants to sign the French international and he is willing to pay this big amount of money. However, Zidane prefers Chelsea player Nemanja Matic, whose transfer fee should be similar to the French one.

Kante’s arrival to Stamford Bridge makes Matic position tough. He was a key player last season for the Blues and played 33 games in the Premier League scoring two goals in a very difficult season for the South West London team. His position is covered already in the team and he might be looking for a new team, according to the media in the UK.

Sissoko or Matic. It doesn’t matter but the true thing is that the team needs another defensive midfielder. With Kroos, Modric, James Rodríguez or Isco, the offensive position is already covered but only Casemiro can play in the stopper position. Zidane tried last season to play without a stopper but he realized soon that Casemiro was a key player in his squad.
