World player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he wants to play at the top level for another six or seven years.

The 29-year-old Los Blancos superstar says he is “In good shape,” after playing through injury at the World Cup.

“For me every season is a challenge so I want to be good again. I dedicate myself 100 per cent and I want to carry on like that until I finish my career,” he said.

Portugal struggled at the World Cup with Ronaldo not fully-fit, but the Portuguese insists he is fully prepared for the coming season.

Ronaldo said: “I’m really focused. [We have the] opportunity to win five, six titles this year.

“I’ll try my best all the season like I do it every year. I’ll try to be the best, help my team, score goals and win titles.”

Ronaldo described last season as “Amazing”. He scored 51 goals in 47 games as Real finished just short of the La Liga title, but won their tenth European Cup.

With Ronaldo firing on all cylinders Real Madrid will this season aim to become the first side to win back to back European Cups since the ‘Champions League’ was first introduced.

  1. I hope for another amazing season from Ronaldo.
It isn’t too long ago when people talked about Barcelona being the first club to win back Champions League, so I am really excited about Real having the opportunity to do this now. Hopefully it will happen earlier than Barcelona gets the chance to do it again.

I can only imagine that Ronaldo is hungry for more success with Real. He can still win the world cup this year, but it will be the Fifa Club World Cup and with Real. So hopefully he will add another Fifa Club World Cup title to his resumé, he won with Manchester back in 2009.
