Good news for Zinedine Zidane. The captain Sergio Ramos has trained again the the rest of the squad and he should be fit to face Atlético Madrid next Saturday in the derby. The Spanish full back got injured one month ago with a sprained knee but he has shorten the timing and he could start on Saturday.

The players had the weekend off and some of them spent some time with their finally, including Sergio Ramos, who showed in his Instagram account his weekend in London with his girlfriend, Spanish TV presenter Pilar Rubio. After his short holidays, Sergio Ramos came back to the Spanish capital and trained with the rest of the group on Monday afternoon.

Sergio Ramos should start the game against Atlético Madrid with Raphael Varane as the full backs. Last year, Sergio Ramos made an important mistake at Vicente Calderón committing penalty, but Keylor Navas saved the shot. Now, he will have his first game in 35 days in a month in a very difficult stadium. He got injured in the 8th of October in a match against Albania with Spain.

Apart from Sergio Ramos, Zidane is concerned with Matteo Kovacic and Karim Benzema. The Croatian midfielder didn’t train with the rest of his team mates but should be ready to replace Toni Kroos in the midfield. Luka Modric is also back to Madrid and he will be the key piece in the midfield. Benzema is still doubt for the clash and he hasn’t trained in the last 10 days. The French striker also missed the last home game against Leganés for muscular problems. Morata would be his replacement.

Marcelo has also come back from Brazil and could train the whole week and should be ready to play in the left back. Brazilian midfielder Casemiro and Portuguese defender Pepe will miss the derby as they continue with their problems. On Thursday, Zidane will have all the players to prepare the clash against Atlético Madrid on Saturday.
