There are several players who can’t play against Sevilla. Last week we published the injuries ofKovacic and Lucas Vázquez La Copa del Rey first leg against Sevilla and now Ramos will not arrive to the game either. Sergio Ramos has an injury that almost lets him out of the FIFA Club World Cup final and both Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid’s captain have decided to give more time for the full recovery of the problem Ramos has in his right leg. Sergio Ramos will miss also the match of the regular season against Granada the next Saturday because he has already 5 yellow cards. With this sanction Ramos will have even more time to recover 100% from his injury.

Real Madrid full back forced to play the FIFA Club World Cup final because he did not want to lose the final of the title. Ramos represents the character of the team and with him in the line up the team looks more secure. Ramos finished the match against Deportivo de la Coruña with several muscular problems although he was a key player in the game because he scored the decisive goal in the 93rd minute.

Zidane, as he has done several times, will not risk with the players who are injured and for the first two games in 2017 he must decide who will be the full backs pair. Varane, Nacho and Pepe are available -recently recovered- to face Sevilla. The team managed by Sampaoli is a very tough squad to win and they are in these moments in the third position of the table. Los Blancos must play a very complete game if they want to achieve a good result for the second leg that will be played at Santiago Bernabéu. Sevilla are very strong playing in their stadium but when they play as a visitant the results are not so positive.
