Lucas Vázquez is been one of the best players in this end of the season for Real Madrid. For this reason, he’s been called by Del Bosque for the Spanish squad in the Euro and he could play some minutes in the final. Actually, he did a great job at Manchester when Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out due to an injury.
Now, he was very confident about his expectations for the final: “If we play how we are capable of, we will win. We know they are good defensively and therefore we need to be at our best for the entire game, but we can beat them”, he commented.
Like other members of the team, Lucas Vázquez wanted to highlight Zidane’s job: “It is a pleasure to train with Zinedine Zidane, you see him as the great player he was and you can learn from him every day”, he said.
These two weeks without playing any single game were really long for the players but they’re already looking forward to the clash: “Everyone is looking forward to the match, we are training with joy, enthusiasm and an eagerness to win. The less you think about the importance of the game, the less pressure you feel.”
