James Rodríguez is now player of Bayern Munich. Both clubs have made official the agreement after the rumours triggered yesterday about a possible transfer to the German team. The Colombian playmaker will meet again Carlo Ancelotti, who was able to squeeze him and make him triumph in his first season with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid published an official statement in their website: “Real Madrid C. F. and Bayern Munich have agreed to the loan of the player James Rodríguez for the next two seasons, pending the relevant medical check-up. Bayern Munich reserves the right to purchase the player at the end of the loan period”, the statement said.

According to some sources, Bayern Munich will pay €60M in the summer of 2019. The midfielder will earn €6M per season in his new club and he will be Douglas Costa replacement, who will play at Juventus.

James Rodríguez wanted to leave Real Madrid after a difficult season without many minutes. The Colombian playmaker showed a good level when Zidane put him on the field, for instance against Eibar or in El Clásico, where he scored the second goal of the team.

However, James Rodríguez best season with Los Blancos was the first one, in 2014/15, when he scored 13 goals in 29 games in La Liga. In that season, Carlo Ancelotti was his coach and now both will gather at Bayern Munich.

James Rodríguez is only 25 years old and he has a lot of quality to show in his new team. After three season with Los Blancos, he was never able to get a fixed spot in the line-up, which push him to leave the club this summer. However, he showed with Los Blancos that he’s a great player so we have no doubt that Bayern Munich have improved his squad with this acquisition.
