Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has admitted in an interview to Spanish radio station RNE that the deal to sign Isco has been closed.
“Isco will play for Real Madrid. He just need to pass the medical tests”, Perez has confessed just two days after revealing that the agreement for Malaga’s midfielder was very close.
Perez revealed they have “reached an agreement with both the player and the club” and said that Spanish youngster “will be officially presented next week”.
Sources have told Real Madrid would pay around 27 million euros and Isco would sign for the next five seasons.
The 21 years old Spanish international was Zinedine Zidane’s first recommendation to Perez for the new Real Madrid project.
The arrival of Isco will probably mean that Kaka, also a playmaker, will find his way out of the club this summer, despite of the arrival of his former coach Carlo Ancelotti. With Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric, Real already has four players for that position.
