Florentino Pérez doesn’t want unpleasant surprises and he’s working to avoid them. This summer, FC Barcelona supporters were shocked when PSG were able to sign Neymar Junior, leaving the club in a crisis. Only some weeks later, the French team also bought Mbappé, spending €180M. Right now, these teams are able to tempt any player, so Florentino Pérez wants to avoid this and he’s designing ironclad contracts.

Manchester City and PSG are owned by powerful men who are able to spend huge amount of money for any player. Al-Khelafi bought Neymar for €224M and Mbappé for €180M breaking every record in this transfer market. For this reason, no player is safe now for this temptation and Real Madrid need to keep their stars out of the radar of these owners.

Florentino Pérez was full aware of this when he bought Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. All of them have a release clause set in €1000M, so any team will have to negotiate with Los Blancos if they want to hire any BBC member.

The president is working to get these deals with the youngsters. Isco has to announce his renewal agreement and his new release clause will be set at €400M. Luka Modric, Toni Kroos or Dani Ceballos signed a clause of €500M. Dani Carvajal or Marco Asensio, the new star, have €350M. Other important players like Casemiro, Nacho, Marcelo or Varane are ironclad with €200M.

Some years ago, Real Madrid were about to lose Sergio Ramos, who didn’t want to renew his contract and spoke with Manchester United. Finally, the deal wasn’t closed and the captain remained with Los Blancos but it was a call of attention for Real Madrid bosses. Since then, they’ve been trying to avoid these situation, renewing their players in advance and setting high release clauses. The next one should be Isco, who should stay with Los Blancos after some months of mystery.
