German midfielder Julian Draxler has admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to complete a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
The 19-year-old Schalke star has a long-term deal with the Gelsenkirchen outfit but has been subject to much speculation in recent weeks.
According to various reports, among his suitors are Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Speaking to Sport1, Draxler said: “Which boy doesn’t dream about playing for Real, Barca, Chelsea or Manchester United? That’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
Draxler, an attacking midfielder who has already won six caps for his national side, has a buy-out clause of 45.5 million euros – something his club chairman said bidders will have to meet if they want to secure his services.
Roger Wittmann told Bild: “The player costs 45.5 million, and he has to agree. These are the conditions of the transfer.”
