Yesterday we published that Real Madrid and FC Barcelona were following the Brazilian team Under 17 in the World Cup in India because both clubs were very interested in Lincoln, a Flamengo striker that scored three goals in the first round of the competition. However, Lincoln is not the only interesting player in this squad and Los Blancos have speed up the process to sign another youngster.

In this case we are talking about Alan Souza. According to the Spanish newspaper As, Real Madrid have reached an agreement with the player to bring him to Spain in the summer of 2018. He will play with Castilla -Real Madrid second team- until he grows up and earn the possibility to play with Los Blancos in La Liga.

Alan Souza play for Palmeiras although he has still to make his debut in the Brasileirao. His contract expires in 2018 and his release clause is set in €50M. However, because his contract is about to expire, Los Blancos can get a very good deal and sign the player for much less money.

His agent, Juan Figger, travelled to Madrid this year to tie all the details and, if everything goes fine, Souza will arrive to the Spanish capital next summer, when Souza turns 18.

He’s been compared with Philippe Coutinho because of his style of playing. His short height -only 163 cm- makes his very skillful when dribbling and assisting in the midfield. Alan is one of the best players of Brazil u-17 and, together with Lincoln, are the two great stars of the team.

Unfortunately we cannot see in the U-17 World Cup Vinicius Junior because Flamengo didn’t allow the player to travel to India. Florentino Pérez already signed Vinicius in a similar deal, but the price was much higher. Real Madrid bosses are building the team of the future with these signings.
