Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa could move to the United States next summer and join one of the big clubs in the Major League Soccer.
The 33-year-old has recently confirmed that he will leave the Santiago Bernabeu next summer, and sources from Spain have revealed that his most likely destination will be the MLS.
With Danilo and Daniel Carvajal rotating at right-back, Arbeloa hasn’t had many chances this season. However, in the few appearances he’s made, the Spaniard has proved that he can still perform at a high level.
Thus, many US clubs are eager to land him. Los Angeles Galaxy, Chicago Fire and New York City have reportedly shown an interest.
The defender is also expecting offers from China and Qatar, where he would get paid more than in the US. However, the idea of leaving in the North America seems to please him more.
In a recent interview, Arbeloa confessed that he knows nothing about his next destination yet, but once the season ends he will reveal his final choice.
