Bale: Losing the final is a failure

Gareth Bale is been one of the key players in Real Madrid season, especially in the last games when Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema were ruled out due to an injury. The Welsh man has the experience of scoring a decisive goal in a Champions League final and he wants to repeat the success.

However, the winger thinks this time there is a big difference if we compare it with Lisbon: “It will be a very different game, but we have more experience and can hopefully get the same result”, he says

Bale only thinks in winning the final, otherwise the season will be very disappointed: “Reaching a final is fine, but to lose a final is as big as being the ultimate failure,” he told the press.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player has good memories of San Siro, where he scored a hat trick against Inter Milan back in 2010. Real Madrid haven’t won yet in this stadium but this is not a problem for Bale: “I don’t know the history of Real but it’s not very important at this stage, what will happen will happen”., he finished.
