Real Madrid and PSG agreed a deal to exchange Keylor Navas and Alphonse Areola. The Costa Rican goalkeeper signed a three years deal with the French team, whereas Los Blancos get the world champions on loan for one year, waiting for Andryi Lunin, who should be Courtois’ replacement next season.

Keylor Navas wanted to leave Madrid after talking with Zinedine Zidane at the beginning of the summer and realized that he was going to be Courtois substitute. The Costa Rican player couldn’t allow another season on the bench, like the last one. However, he didn’t want to lose money and not many teams were able to assume his salary.
