Mariano Diáz played a great match against Cultural Leonesa in the second leg of Copa del Rey scoring three goals and being the MVP of the game. There are rumors that say that the Dominican player will go on loan in January. Several teams are interested in him, because of his good performances in all the games Zidane gave him an opportunity.

The most recent candidate is Valencia, that are having a very poor start in the regular season. Valencia do not have a “killer” since Paco Alcácer signed with Barcelona. The strikers the Levantine team have are Munir, Rodrigo and Santi Mina. No one is a pure striker and they only add seven goal between them. Valencia will have no problem in Mariano’s salary payment, two million gross euros per year.

Another top team that want Mariano is Sevilla. In summer they tried to sign Mariano, but finally the Andalusian team signed the former Atlético Madrid player Vietto. It is the destination that the Dominican striker would most like. The great disadvantage is that Mariano will have a lot of competence at Sevilla that have two good strikers as Vietto and Ben Yedder.

Málaga is another team that are interested in Mariano. With Charles injury, the Andalusian team need another striker. Real Madrid and Málaga have a very good relationship and now a days Diego Llorente is on loan at Málaga. It would not be the first time that these two teams make negotiations between them.

Deportivo Coruña also need new strikers, despite Joselu has return form his injury and Ryan Babel. Since Lucas Pérez signed with Arsenal, Deportivo have the huge problem of not having an scorer in their team and now a day they are in the low part of the table.

Leganés was the team that was more interested in him and they tried to signed Mariano in the summer transfer market. Both teams reached an agreement but the Dominican did not want to make that step. It’s a very attractive team for Mariano because is a very stable team, without qualifying problemas, with a familiar atmosphere and in the same city.

Alavés already made an offer to the Dominican in summer and although Deyverson is playing quite good, they would like to have another striker with different characteristics. Marcos Llorente is on loan at Alavés and he is having a very good experience and he is growing as a player. This could be a good example for Mariano’s interests.
