After the victory against Cultural Leonesa in the second leg of La Copa del Rey, Zidane spoke in the press conference. Los Blancos played with many young players in the line up and the result was satisfactory. The French manager highlighted the great performance of Real Madrid second team players, Casemiro’s return and the match against Barcelona.

Enzo Fernández played his first minutes with the white t-shirt at his father’s order and he scored a good goal and he participated a lot in the minutes he was on the pitch: “As a father and as a coach, I’m very happy for his goal, but I’m happy for everything we’ve done tonight. It’s an important day for the player that debuted tonight. Of course I’m happy with my son’s goal, but that lasts me two seconds. I will speak with him when we are alone, but as a coach I must think in all the team and don’t individually”, Zidane explained about his son’s performance tonight.

Casemiro is back so very good news for Real Madrid supporters because the Brazilian midfielder is Zidane key player and his reappearance has been welcomed. Casemiro played the entire match and we could saw him really good: “He had some problems at the beginning, but I’m happy for his return, he is ready but it’s not easy for a player to be out of the pitch two months”, Zidane said about Casemiro’s reappearance.

Mariano was the MVP of the match because he scored three goals and he showed his great quality: “He is a great scorer, I’m happy for his three goals and the work he’s done. It was a great night for everyone, but now we must think in the next match. We’ll see what happens in January with Mariano”, Zidane said about Mariano.

If Los Blancos win at Camp Nou, they will have a distance of nine points respect to Barcelona:” We are only thinking on preparing the game, whatever happens it’s not going to be decisive, they will make us suffer. We have to be well prepared, but it will not be decisive at all”, Zidane said.
