Real Madrid faced Cultural Leones in the second leg of the last 32 Round of Copa del Rey and they classified to the next round. Los Blancos won in a match in which we could saw new faces in Zidane’s line up. After the first match of Copa del Rey, where Real Madrid were very superior winning 1-7, this was a good game to give minutes to the players who usually don’t play that much. We highlight in Zidane starting 11,players as Álvaro Tejero, who had his first minutes with Real Madrid’s shirt and Casemiro’s return. Both Cultural Leonesa and Real Madrid can boast of being the only teams that have not lost any game in their respective leagues.

The match started quite good for Los Blancos because in the first minutes of the game, Asensio made a great cross and Mariano opened the score board with a great definition. James had a great chance to show Zidane that he is 100% to play El Clásico and in the 23rd minute he scored the second goal from a wonderful cross of Carvajal. Mariano was being Los Blancos best player and he could score the third one from another pass of Carvajal. Cultural Leonesa had their prize when Yeray scored a goal from outside the box just before finishing the first half.

Isco did not play the second half thinking in the match against Barça and he was replaced by Enzo Zidane who also had his first minutes with Real Madrid at his father’s order. Zidane’s son only needed 20 minutes to show the great quality he has scoring Los Blancos fourth goal. Mariano wanted to score his first hat trick with Real Madrid’s shirt, and he could achieved it in the last 10 minutes, scoring the fifth goal for Los Blancos and his personal hat trick. The match finished with an own goal of Morgado.

We can highlight Mariano’s performance, scoring his first hat trick with Real Madrid, and Odegaard, who had really good minutes being the play maker in the midfield. Now Los Blancos must think in the El Clásico in the weekend because it’s a good moment to widen the gap.
