Everton signed Ademola Lookman in the winter transfer window for a transfer fee of €11.5M. The striker was an unknown player for the majority of the supporters as he was playing in the South London club Charlton Athletic, from the League One division. However, in his first game with the Toffees he showed his quality scoring the last goal in the hammering victory over Guardiola’s side.

In the injury time of the game Everton v Manchester City in the Premier League, Ronald Koeman decided to give some minutes to Lookman. It was his debut in Premier League. Only four minutes later, he scored his first goal in the top flight beating Claudio Bravo. The dream came true for this young player.

Only one month ago, he was an unknown player in the League One. However, he has a promising career. With only 18 years old, Lookman has played with the Under 20 English national team and has called the attention of the biggest clubs of the country. In an interview with the British newspaper The Sun, he has showed his ambition: “One day I want to win trophies. Of course I want to play at the highest level – whether it be in England or Spain, I want to be at the top. You have teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid”, Lookman said.

After the first defeat in 40 games at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, there is some controversy with Real Madrid players. Some of them didn’t show a great level against Sevilla and the supporters are pointing them for not showing their skills in one of the most important games of the season.

Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo or Keylor Navas were the players who didn’t play great. Benzema missed an important chance and lost the ball in the second goal scored by Jovetic. The French manager wasn’t very angry after his first defeat in 40 games. Zinedine Zidane was satisfied with the performance at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and he was looking forward to the next game, in Copa del Rey against Celta de Vigo. Los Blancos played a good game, but they were unable to keep the result in the last 5 minutes of the game.

“We missed the last five minutes. It’s hard with the game we did. The defeat is hard. We knew this was going to happen some day”, Zidane said after the game against Sevilla. However, he wants to think in a positive way: “Of course we can get positive things, like always”.

The manager also described the feelings of the squad: “I don’t think is a lack of concentration. These are moments in the game. A free kick, a ball lost… In 90 minutes, it can happen. Real Madrid and Sevilla played for the second time this week at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Los Blancos lost (2-1) in a very difficult match against a very tough team when they played in their stadium. Zinedine Zidane did some changes in the line up. He decided to introduce Nacho in the defense instead of Lucas Vázquez with the goal of controlling the midfield. Chelsea’s coach, Antonio Conte, wants to sign a Real Madrid player in the upcoming winter’s transfer market. The Italian manager wants a new striker in his team and his desire is Álvaro Morata. Conte believes Morata would be an ideal candidate to lead his 3-4-3 formation and feels he can turn him into a 20 goals a season striker. The recent argument between Diego Costa and Chelsea’s manager has made that there is still more interest in Morata’s signing.
