The last summer was atypical for Real Madrid. Los Blancos didn’t sign any big player and they only got Álvaro Morata, after two years playing for Juventus, and Marco Asensio, who was on loan at Espanyol. Both players were unveiled by the president Florentino Pérez at Santiago Bernabéu but Real Madrid supporters already knew them.

However, Los Blancos tried to sign several players. Especially, they put their eyes on Paul Pogba, who finally joined Manchester United after a record-fee deal. N’Golo Kanté or Moussa Sissoko were other Premier League players that were interesting for Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane wanted some other player for midfield and the club was looking for all the possibilities, including the footballers in the big rivals FC Barcelona. According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid tried to sign Ivan Rakitic this summer but people around the Croatian footballer said: “No, thanks”.

FC Barcelona signed several players in the midfield this summer, including André Gomes, Denis Suárez and Arda Turan, who didn’t join Barça this year but he didn’t show his quality last year. With so many competitors, Real Madrid spotted the possibility to ‘steal’ Rakitic but it wasn’t possible.

It would have been a good signing for Real Madrid, although Rakitic position is well covered at Real Madrid. The team needs another stopper, especially now that Casemiro is injured, but there are several players in the midfield: Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Isco, James Rodríguez, Mateo Kovacic… All of them could play in Rakitic position, so it looks quite unlikely that Los Blancos could have tried actually this movement.

Rakitic is currently injured and he missed the last Barcelona game against Celta, where they lost 4-3. The Croatian also missed some important games such as Sporting Gijón or some minutes against Leganés. Luis Enrique has more players to choose from and he gives some rest to his stars.

Despite Isco is not having too many minutes, his national team coach included him in the list for the qualifying games for the World Cup against Italy and Albania. Isco has told everything about his situation in Real Madrid in an interview in Marca.

When Isco was asked about if he feels he is an important player in the squad, the Spanish midfield spoke about the number of games he played in Madrid: “I’ve played many games with Real Madrid, 154 exactly, which are many games. But it is true I’ve never had the role of being in the line up each game. In Madrid I know it’s very difficult because there are many good players, but I don’t give up. I work every day to show the football I have”, Isco explained about his role at Real Madrid.

When the journalist asked him if he would have many more minutes in another team, Isco answered: “Yes, it’s possible. We are talking about the best players in the world, there is a lot of competition and the formation is practically non-negotiable. It’s possible that in another team I could play more”.

We saw the best Isco in Carlo Ancelotti’era as Real Madrid coach and the Italian manager wanted Isco to defended more: “With Ancelotti I played almost always in the starting 11 and if I had to wait my chance from the bench I was the first substitution. I had to work a lot in defense and I was an skilled ball-stealer, as Casemiro now. It was a very complete year and I enjoyed it.”

Isco is not having too many minutes but it’s not the only year the Spanish midfielder is not playing: “If I’m not in the usual starting 11 with Ancelotti, Benitez and Zidane it’s because is my fault. I’m the responsible of this situation and now I want to find where I can improve”, Isco affirmed.

Isco also talked about the last match against Eibar and what’s happening in the team after the four consecutive draws: “It’s weird, the good news is that we are in the beginning of the season and we are tied with Atlético and Barça is two point behind. We have time to fix it and find solutions. This year La Liga has to be ours, we don’t win it since a long time ago. It’s the title I don’t have”, Isco said about the priority of La Liga.

After the four consecutive draws of Real Madrid in the last matches, it’s quite difficult to highlight someone of the squad. The BBC is not passing through a good moment but we can can say, Bale is the player that more in form is of Real Madrid’s attack.

Gareth Bale was one of the best players in the last Eurocup of France. The Welshman was very important for his national team and he showed it scoring three goals and being the reference in the attack of Wales.

The Welshman started quite good the season scoring two goals in the first match of the regular season against Real Sociedad, that finished with the victory of Real Madrid 0-3. Gareth Bale started very good the season because he had to be the reference of the attack of Los Blancos. In the beginning of the season Cristiano and Benzema were injured and the Welshman played really good with Morata and Asensio in the attack.

Despite Gareth Bale is playing in the right part of pitch, he is doing great performances. The worst match of the Welshman was in Dortmund because the attack of Los Blancos didn’t had many opportunities and they focused on defend. Gareth Bale has contributed in five goals in his 8 games played this season. In all the competitions he scored three goals and he also gave two assists. The BBC has only scored six goals in all the official matches Real Madrid played.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are not in form and that’s reflected in the goals they scored so far. The Portuguese striker only scored a goal so far and was in the victory against Osasuna that finished 5-2. Karim Benzema only has played 5 matches so far because he lost the beginning of the season because of a pain in his hip.

Maybe is the year that Gareth Bale becomes the most important player in the squad. Is the fourth season for the Welshman in Madrid and he has always been in the shadow of Cristiano. We hope the Portuguese and the French striker recovers because wee need them 100% to face the the season.

Although Zinedine Zidane said “we are not in crisis”, the reality is that Real Madrid have lost 6 of the last 9 points played in La Liga. After being top of the table for the first six games, Atlético de Madrid have now overcome the city rivals in the table whereas FC Barcelona failed on Sunday to win the three points against Celta, so the big rivals are still behind.

One of the main issues Real Madrid are having is the BBC bad moment. The three Real Madrid stars, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are not playing as they should be and the team is lacking their goals in the last games. For instance, against Eibar, the team only needed one goal in the second half to get the three points but the score didn’t move.

Cristiano Ronaldo has only scored one goal in all seven games in La Liga. The Portuguese missed the first three games due to an injury and he scored in his debut against Osasuna but he has failed to score since then. Against Eibar he was frustrated because he had many chances and he was angry in Las Palmas game after been substituted by Zidane. We have to go until the season 2010-11 to see the same stats from Cristiano. Then, he finished the season with 40 goals in 34 games in La Liga.

Gareth Bale started the season really well and he even scored two goals in the season debut at Anoeta. The Welshman looked very fit after his superb Euro but he failed to score again until last Sunday. Bale didn’t show a great performance neither in the Champions League and he is not showing the great skill of the last games in the past season.

Karim Benzema is the BBC worst player. The French striker looks very slow and out of the games so far. He has only scored two goals -Espanyol and Las Palmas- in the five games he has played so far in La Liga. There are some people saying that Morata should have more opportunities until the French player recover himself.

Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane need the BBC to achieve all the goals this season. We have to wait two weeks until Los Blancos next game. Hopefully Real Madrid stars will show a better performance against Betis.

After seven games in La Liga, Real Madrid are second in the table, with the same points as Atlético de Madrid, top of the table with 15 points. We are only at the beginning of October and Los Blancos are in a position to win everything this season. However, nervousness is already around Santiago Bernabéu after the last four disappointing games.

At this time of the year, in the past season, Real Madrid had also 15 points, when Rafa Benítez was in charge of the team. Then, however, there were already serious doubts about the capability of the Spanish coach of handling a team like Real Madrid. One year after and only with seven games in La Liga, Zidane has got 15 points after three consecutives draws in the league.

“We are not in crisis”, Zidane said after the fourth straight draw against Eibar. However, everybody was quite disappointed about how the team played with the Basque team. According to MARCA, the coach even said to the players: “You want to win only because you wear the Real Madrid t-shirt”. Real Madrid need to improve and react as soon as possible, otherwise the season could be similar to the past one.

After the three consecutive draws in La Liga Real Madrid had in the last matches, now is the moment for the national teams. Many players of Los Blancos are in the list of their national teams but there´s a player that surprised everyone because of his muscular problems.

James Rodriguez was going to be in the starting 11 in the midfield with Kroos and Isco. In the warm up before the game started, James Rodriguez had muscular problems and he couldn’t play the match. Kovacic replaced him in the line up and the Colombian midfielder had do some medicals tests.

With the problem James had, all the people thought that he will not go with his national team team to play the two matches they have for the qualifying of the World Cup of Russia on 2018. Colombia must play against Paraguay on Friday and Uruguay on Tuesday of the next week.

This is quite strange because James could not play the match of yesterday against Eibar and he should not be able to do it with Colombia, that’s what his Real Madrid thinks about it. After all, Real Madrid are the entity that pays James, and if the Colombian midfielder can’t play with Los Blancos nor he should play with Colombia.

The opinion of Colombia is the opposite as the one Real Madrid have. James will not play the first match Colombia have against Paraguay. The problem is that he will play the second game against Uruguay. For this reason, the Colombian midfielder should cross the world to play only one game and such a long trip is not good for his injury.

Pekerman knows James is the star of Colombia in fact, he is the captain of of his national team but maybe is not a good idea include James in the list because the injury can get worse. We hope everything goes well because James is a very important both in Colombia and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is not having a good moment now. After the draw against Eibar this afternoon, Zinedine Zidane spoke in the press conference about the match of Eibar. Zidane highlighted that his team is not in crisis, his vision of the match against Eibar and the bad moment his side is having in the last few weeks.

The journalists didn’t doubt in asking Zinedine Zidane what is happening to his team because of the four draws in a row in the last games: “We’re not having intensity in the beginning of the matches. Eibar played a great game with an aggressive team. We need more intensity in the work and me the fist one. When the players return from the national teams we must correct all the mistakes. We cannot continue like this”, Zidane explained about the bad moment Real Madrid is having.

It’s the fourth consecutive game without winning and the journalists asked the French manager if his team is in crisis: “No, we are not in crisis. We only have to improve. We tied three consecutive matches in La Liga. We have to work harder and be more intense in the beginning of the matches”, Zidane confirmed that his team is not in crisis.

Zidane also spoke about how he saw the match against Eibar and what’s the problem of his team: “It’s a pity. In the first half we let Eibar play and control the game. But in the second half we were better but lately we are starting very bad the games. We knew they could have chances to score a goal and we didn’t do anything to prevent it. We cannot say it is a physical problem. The only good thing for us is that the players are going now with their national teams and I have to find solutions. We must change this situation.”

Real Madrid tied their fourth consecutive match against Eibar. Los Blancos couldn’t achieve a victory in their seventh match of the regular season. We had many important injuries as Casemiro and Modric in the midfield and Zinedine Zidane had to make many changes in the line up. Isco was in the starting 11 after being disappeared several weeks. James Rodríguez was in the line up also, but he had muscular problems in the warm up and Kovacic replaced him.

Real Madrid started the match playing with a very offensive line up with Kovacic, Kroos and Isco in the midfield and with the BBC in the attacking line. In the first minutes the Basque team started to be very confortable on the pitch and they could score a goal in the sixth minute. Fran Rico scored a great header and Real Madrid had to overcome another match in Santiago Bernabéu.

With the Eibar’s goal, Los Blancos started to control the match and they had many opportunities to draw the game. Finally Cristiano made a great cross and Gareth Bale scored with a wonderful header his 50th goal in Real Madrid in the minute 18. After Bale’s goal, Los Blancos had a very good chance to get ahead with a great shot of Cristiano Ronaldo, but Asier Riesgo made a great safe.

In the second half Zinedine Zidane decided to do substitutions to face the second half. Karim Benzema and Varane were the two players who had to leave the pitch; Nacho and Morata replaced them. At the beginning of the second half, Bale had another header, but the bar prevented it. Isco was a bit tired because he hasn’t played since long time ago 70 minutes and the French coach decided that Marco Asensio should replace him. Kovacic was the best player of the midfield, he was participating and appearing in all the pitch.

Los Blancos didn’t find the way to score the second goal because Eibar were defending very good and really organized. Finally the match finished 1-1. The next week is time for the national teams and we won’t play again in two weeks so now is time to think in all the mistakes and try to find solutions.

This afternoon Real Madrid will play against Eibar in the Santiago Bernabéu the seventh match of the regular season. Real Madrid will face this match with many injuries and that’s why Zinedine Zidane must line up players that don’t usually plays.

A player that is not having too much minutes is Isco. The Spaniard midfielder is not having too much minutes in the beginning of the season and with the injuries of Casemiro and Modric, Isco will have a good chance to try to convince Zinedine Zidane for the next games.

Isco will have the opportunity against Eibar to play in the midfield with Kovacic and Kroos.Isco in not in the starting 11 since the game of the Super Cup against Sevilla the 9th of September. Isco only played three games in La Liga this season. The three matches he played he entered from the bench. In fact, Mariano is the only player that played less than Isco in this season, without naming the players who are injure as Coentrao and the two keepers Keylor Navas and Yañez. There’s many midfielders in the squad as Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, James, Kovacic an Asensio, so Isco has many competence in his postion.

Isco is only 24 years old and he has a lot of career ahead. This is his fourth year in Madrid and every year he is playing less and less. Isco came from Malaga in the season 2012-2013, in Málaga he played his best season as a professional. The first two seasons in Madrid he played quite good and he scored 8 goals the first in La Liga.

As we know, Isco is a magnificent player but the only thing he needs is continuity. Zinedine Zidane confirmed that he likes Isco and that he will play this season because he is an important player for the squad, despite he haven’t played too much minutes.

Real Madrid is trying to renew many players of the squad this year.According to AS, Los Blancos are thinking if they must renew Pepe or if he must search another team in the next transfer market on January.

The contract of Pepe expires on June of 2017 and if Real Madrid don’t want to to renew the Portuguese defender this season, they must find a solution. If Los Blancos want to win money with Pepe they must sell him on the next transfer market.

Pepe has been a very important player for Real Madrid in the last years. Pepe came injured from the Euro Cup of France and he didn’t play in the first games of the regular season. Varane replaced him during the period he was injured, and the French defender played great matches. In the past game of Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, Pepe wasn’t in the line up of Zinedine Zidane and maybe the French manager believes more in his compatriot than in Pepe right now.

Pepe said a few weeks ago that his priority is to renew with Real Madrid “I’ll wait to Madrid until the last second. If I do not renew with Real Madrid I can think on my retire of football” Pepe said on 12 September.

The directive of Real Madrid have doubt about the future of Pepe. It looks Zinedine Zidane believes more on Varane and it’s not easy have on the bench one of the best defenders of the world. Now a days it seems that Sergio Ramos and Rafael Varane will bee the in the starting 11 for the important games of the season. From the directive they also think Nacho is ready to take a step forward. Nacho can play in any position of the defense and his versatility is very important for the French manager. Also Diego LLorente is currently on loan at Málaga, and it’s a good option for the future to complete the defense. Jesus Vallejo in another player on loan and he is have a good performance in Eintracht Frankfurt.
