Real Madrid wins Champions League

11th Champions League. The team has won another Champions title. That’s Real Madrid. In Milan, against a historic rival as Atlético de Madrid. It was in penalties. Real scored first in the first half but Atlético drew the game in the minute 79th.

Real started the game playing better than Atlético. Although the first goal arrived through a set piece. Kroos put a perfect cross and Ramos shot in front of Oblak and he couldn’t did anything.

After Ramos’ goal, Atlético started playing better and they had more shoots than Real. In fact, at first of the second half, Atlético had a chance to tie early thanks to a penlty but Griezmann missed it.

Then, Carrasco tied the game after a Juanfran assist. Zidane couldn’t already replace other players and everybody was exhausted. In the extra time it looked Atlético phisycal was going to be higher than Los Blancos, but the truth is that Real had more chances.

Penalties time. The first shooter was Lucas Vázquez. The young canterano boy, who has impressed everybody, wasn’t afraid and he scored, like Marcelo, Bale and Ramos. It was a intense fight because Atlético kickers wasn’t missing either. Until Juanfran, hitting the post. Cristiano who failed on penalties in 2008 when he was in Manchester United, and in 2014 scored a penalty which it was the 4-1, scored the decisive penalty. Champions League trophy

Real Madrid will face Atlético de Madrid on Saturday at 20:45 local time for the European glory. Los Blancos can hold for the 11th time the Champions League title, the second time in a row against the city rivals.

According to French newspaper L’Équipe, Juventus forward Álvaro Morata’s agent, Juanma López, was negotiating in France on wednesday at night with Paris Saint Germain sports director, Olivier Letang.

Morata was sold by Real to Juventus two years ago, but Real is thinking to activate the buy-back option for 30 million euros (23 million pounds), which lasts until 2017.

However, it looks Real is going to re-signing Spanish forward to sell to any team which could pay 50 or 60 million euros. According to L’Équipe, PSG doesn’t matter pay this quantity because they are searching someone who can supply Ibrahimovic, and they consider Morata is the right player.

Xavi Hernández was one of the key players in the Barcelona golden era, winning four Champions League. Now he is almost retired, playing in Qatar but he always keeps a close eye around Spanish football.

He’s looking forward to the Champions League final. Obviously he is supporting Atlético de Madrid because “they deserve it for the work they are doing”. He thinks “this is the moment of Atlético de Madrid”.

He also mentioned the Lisbon final and he thinks that “football always gives you a second chance. Now is the moment for Atlético de Madrid”.

However, Xavi Hernández also highlighted the experience of Real Madrid: “In historic terms, Real Madrid could be a little bit favourite because they have more experience playing finals. You have to keep this in mind but I think Atlético will win the trophy”, he said in an interview with the organizers of Qatar World Cup.

Lucas Vázquez is been one of the best players in this end of the season for Real Madrid. For this reason, he’s been called by Del Bosque for the Spanish squad in the Euro and he could play some minutes in the final. Actually, he did a great job at Manchester when Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out due to an injury.

Now, he was very confident about his expectations for the final: “If we play how we are capable of, we will win. We know they are good defensively and therefore we need to be at our best for the entire game, but we can beat them”, he commented.

The next Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has already started thinking about his team he wants to have. According to Spanish radio Cadena Cope, he has eyed even six players of Real Madrid.

Raphaël Varane, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. That’s Guardiola’s list. But the problem for ex Barcelona coach is Real doesn’t arise any option. At least this moment.

According to Cadena Cope, Guardiola hasn’t contacted with Real directly, but he has spoken to Kroos agent, who commented it to Real and they say German player salary have been raised. And the actual (until 30th June) Bayern coach is thinking to contact Carvajal agent too.
