Sergio Ramos has requested Real Madrid to negotiate a transfer move should any club make an offer to sign him, Spanish radio station Cadena COPE has revealed.

Ramos met with Los Blancos general director Jose Angel Sanchez and confessed he wants to leave the club. He asked Sanchez to take into consideration any offer they should receive this summer.

The negotiations between Ramos and Real Madrid to extend the defender’s contract have been tough. The Andalusian wants to earn at least ten million euros per season, and Florentino Perez is not willing to offer more than 7.5 million.

Thus, Ramos’ agent has been exerting pressure through the media, claiming they’ve got an important offer from Manchester United and they are willing to accept it.

However, Perez remains firm and is open to breaking negotiations with Ramos and force him to stay at the club the two seasons he has left on his contract.

Sources from the Santiago Bernabeu have claimed Ramos will only leave if any club pays his buy-out clause, which is 200 million euros.

Rumours in England suggest Manchester United could offer Los Merengues 45 million euros plus David de Gea, but it is highly unlikely that Florentino Perez will accept that.
