Madrid press: Real Madrid to push up the bid for Gareth Bale to €100 million

Spanish sports newspaper As claims today that Real Madrid have pushed up the bid for Gareth Bale to 100 million euros, in order to secure the signing of the Welshman.

As also states that Los Blancos have made a new offer for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez. According to the Madrid daily, Los Blancos are willing to pay 45 million euros for the Uruguayan.

Both Madrid sports papers highlight Xabi Alonso’s injury in their front pages. The Basque midfielder will undergo groin surgery to repair the athletic pubalgia he’s been suffering this year and will miss the Confederations Cup in Brazil.
