The latest Real Madrid transfer rumours point to Los Blancos definitely pursuing Gareth Bale and Thiago Alcantara after Carlo Ancelotti gave his blessing to sign them.
Spanish radio station SER claims the Italian manager has suggested Alcantara and Asier Illarramendi as his two main candidates to reinforce the centre-back position. Apparently, he wants someone young, cheap and with great potential. Both players fulfil those requirements.
According to Spanish digital newspaper El Confidencial, Ancelotti has also given his approval to sign Gareth Bale, in order to increase the team’s work rate. However, the high price of the Welshman could be an obstacle for him to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu.
El Confidencial also states that Ancelotti has told Florentino Perez he is happy to dispense of the services of Gonzalo Higuain and Fabio Coentrao, while he will count on youngsters Alvaro Morata and Jese Rodriguez as reinforcements for the forward line.
Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport states Ancelotti has asked about Milan’s rising star Stephan El Shaaraway. Italian newspaper reports the Rossoneri want 25 million euros and Kaka in exchange for the 20-year old.
The Daily Star has linked Stevan Jovetic to a move to Real. The British tabloid claims Los Blancos will offer 23 million euros for Fiorentina’s forward, who is also being pursued by Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus. He could be a cheaper option if Gareth Bale’s deal finally does not happen.
