Zinedine Zidane spoke after the Santiago Bernabéu trophy in press conference where the coach was asked about the transfer market and his feelings about the team only five days before the start of the season in San Sebastian against Real Sociedad.

In the last days, Cesc Fàbregas has been linked to Real Madrid after started on the bench in Chelsea’s first game in the Premier League. “If you want to put another midfielder in the pitch is complicated. I’m going to have a squad with three or four players aren’t going to be called for the games, so another player in the midfield is complicated”, Zidane explained.

The French coach is not expecting another player but he could welcome a good signing: “I don’t think any other player will arrive and I’m happy with the squad. Anything can happen but I’m happy. Sometimes is not necessary to spend money. I’m very happy with the squad. With these players we won the Champions League. I want to work hard during the year. Things don’t happen by playing in Real Madrid but for working hard”.

If no one is arriving to Real Madrid, it’s going to be difficult to sell any player. In the last hours there were a lot of rumours linking James Rodríguez with Chelsea. The Colombian played well against Stade Reims and even scored a goal in the second half: “James is here, I’m happy with his game and he’s going to stay. I’m fed up of answering this. My reply is not going to change”, Zidane said.

In the morning, Marco Asensio was unveiled as new Real Madrid player. Afterwards, the Spanish playmaker started again the game: “He knows what he is going to have. I’m not going to trick anybody. I’m going to try to make the best team in every game”, Zidane said about his options to play in the first team.
