Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has been given a deadline of July 22 if he wants to complete a move to Real Madrid, reports have suggested.

The Daily Mirror said the Anfield club has grown tired of the speculation surrounding the striker, who is currently away on holiday after helping Uruguay to 4th place in the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Suarez has used a number of interviews this summer to explain his desire to leave Liverpool, blaming the British press for making life difficult for him and his family in the UK.

Los Blancos are on the hunt for a forward – particularly if the deal taking Gonzalo Higuain from Madrid to Arsenal goes through – and have been linked with a 40 million euro move for Suarez.

According to the Mirror, Suraez, who has scored 51 goals in 96 appearances for the Reds since his arrival from Ajax in January 2011, has been told to sort out his future one way or another before July 22. If he doesn’t he will be expected to return for pre-season training.
