Holidays are over for most of the Real Madrid players. The team goes back to work after one month off, just when they finished celebrating the 12th Champions League for the club. The footballers need to meet this Monday at Valdebebas, the training ground, for the medical tests before travelling on Tuesday to Los Angeles to start the pre-season training.

Los Blancos will have three weeks to be ready for the first title of the season, the 8th of August against Manchester United in the European Supercup. Real Madrid will have the opportunity to fight for six titles, because they will play also the Spanish Supercup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

In order to face all these challenges, Florentino Pérez is signing new players to add even more quality to a very competitive squad. So far, Jesús Vallejo, Borja Mayoral, Marcos Llorente, Theo Hernández and Dani Ceballos are the new signings. All of them very young and talented players with experience in the first division. Perhaps, Kylian Mbappé or other star could arrive until the end of the transfer market.

Talking about farewells, only Pepe and Coentrao left the team so far. The first one ended his contract and left to Besiktas, whereas the left-back joined Sporting Portugal on loan. Álvaro Morata missed his opportunity to join Manchester United -the Red Devils signed Romelu Lukaku-, but he still wants to leave the club. Besides, James Rodríguez is also looking for another team.

Florentino Pérez and Zinedine Zidane will meet before travelling to USA to speak about the future and how to plan the new season. Both met also some weeks ago to talk about the transfer market and about the agreement of his renewal. The supporters are expecting a new deal with the coach after winning two Champions League in his first two seasons as a manager.
